Lovely drive and great to watch, especially as you worked your way through to what I assume was 2nd pos. Could sense some tyre degradation a few laps prior and perhaps a few slight lapses in concentration. However, despite those high speeds, you seemed to shunt gracefully with what was hopefully minimal damage - and none to you! Certainly you remained calm and in control post impact. Hi Jay, yes was a blue flag pass. Not really sure what he was doing. Those cars are in the historic class and closing speeds are pretty big between us and them…makes it pretty hairy round tracks like brands hatch. We are racing on the Indy circuit in September…will be interesting 🙈
Wicked driving despite the loss of grip around lap 6/7 and a bit of a drizzle. Some of the best driving ive seen in a long time.

James james james. Driver fatigue idk, tire fatigue looks like it, and I reckon if off throttle , you would have kept it. Thankfully nary a scratch on you or the car and im curious what tire you were on.

That clip is from race 1 which is a bit boring tbh. It was a short race as someone dumped a load of oil on the track in the race before and the track had a curfew which was looming. Going to up load race 2 soon which is more interesting…go from 13th to 5th…crash….safety car….few more overtakes. Just editing together with the rear view camera etc now!

Crash at 10.45🙄
to all the wankers making smart-arsed comments along the lines of 'The crash is at 10.45, you're welcome' - well there is 10.45 worth of fantastic driving preceding it and you armchair critics who dont or cannot appreciate fine race-craft should just move along, find an F1 video page and perhaps start telling VER and LEC where they are going wrong or maybe head over to SpaceX and educate their engineers about rocket-science. Either that or seeing as you are too clever for this world, you should grease your arse and slide into the next one....
All the way through watching this I was expecting a mishap on Lodge Corner, That's why I always pitch there when I go down for the weekend.

Seemed quite squealy and slip-slidey on the preceding lap before the off, I'm guessing tyre wear was a factor here as well as the more obvious problem of getting out in the marbles. Great drive up until the "oh shit" moment!

The "Crash" is at 10:45 - so u dont waste your time - as me...
Just a little deeper into Old Hall and a little earlier turn in combo gives you..... the slippy concrete on the outside and ..... shame ! I enjoyed the pace and nice clean moves.... trust the car wasnt too badly damaged

What's the cost of a shunt like this?
Well I think we bought 2nd hand parts to keep cost down. Was an upright, wheel, brake disc and couple of wish bones and some bodywork. Was best part of £2k I think…that’s doing it cheap. Had a similar accident in a different car this year and was £5k
