Remembering the lost part of America's rural history.
We're a KZread channel dedicated to showing people who weren't born on a farm what the farming life is like by vlogging events on the farm from How To Operate videos, all the way down to daily activities.
How Farms Work is a dynamic family-friendly farm vlog that showcases several beef and crop farms located in Southwestern Wisconsin. Equipment operation, techniques, daily activities, and farming strategies are all first-hand accounts given by Ryan, an agricultural business major whose family run these farms. How Farms Work takes place on over 10 different farms, with each farm ranging from 30 to 200+ acres.
Be sure to subscribe to stay in touch with farming practices, new and old, used in the Midwest or if you are a farmer or aspiring farmer!

Why do they fly so far away from the ground?
Why woun’t you have set the bulk bin and auger so you could just pull the mixer along side of the bulk bin so you can load the mixer.
It’s in the way there
Good to see you Ryan and the Familys and for the Feeder you Paited try to get an old wagin to put under .
Hope crops do well this year!!
👍👍❤
I really want to see a scouting video two weeks post flight to see the job these drones did. Very impressive.
You sprayed you hair. :)
Great Video Ryan, In NZ most operations prefer a grass based diet for finishing cattle, Grain is just to expensive, than ks for sharing
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Good job with the paint on the feeder. Grain bin also looked pretty good. Great to see the family working together. Wishing you and your family the best.
Thanks Ryan.
We're about are you guys located at in Wisconsin
Good job with the paint sprayer. Good enough for who it’s for! 😂
You might want to use some Slip Plate in the bottom of the bin, and inside the feeder too. It can add years to the life of feed handling equipment.
Feeder turned out nice Ryan. Not bad for your first spray gun run.
The feeder will help when your going to be busy in the field, you can have more feed ahead of the cattle and not grind as often.
Great purchases ryan hope all is well
last year Larson farm's had a very nice bin for sale if i would have know you were looking for 1 i would have said something to you but it gone now :(
Are you using the Kuhn mower this year?
Another grate video we'll worth the money ya spent.....

Great video Ryan, great paint job on the feeder. Have you guys had any problems with too much rain and flooding like in parts of Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota?

Looks very nice Ryan, good job on both.

I absolutely love your guys planting setup seems like a perfect match of planter size to tractor horsepower
I enjoyed your video long time no see! But life moves on in all directions as you age.
Are you going to secure it to the ground?
Didn’t know Travis had a channel
Great job Ryan
Big D is on the scene! Have a good season, guys.
Happy cows, happy life. ;-)
Signs of old age..... white hair... and you start wearing a hat to hide the white hair 😜🤣.. Nice job on the spraying... its so much easier than a brush.. That bin looked a bargain.. id be in it knocking out that dents in a minute..... if i wasn't Far Far away.... 😮😅 stay safe 🏴
Excellent job on the paint Ryan. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Ryan, Hannah, Dad and Travis. Ryan please tell Travis I really miss his Video's. The feeder looks good. The storage bin works and hope it doesn't leak. Any video's of the valley. Take care, Take it easy and Trust JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks nice
well it is not a Robby Layton paint job but a farmer Ryan paint job. both serve their purpose.
You might need to watch a video in spray painting. Your technique needs work 😅
Hopefully you didn't receive any damage from the storms
Use cardboard to make a pattern and cut out of plastic tote or barrel. Caulk the hell out it. Paint gray. Like new. Hope you can get a concrete bunk deal or sponsor. Local bin mfg, may have a good used roof or sell parts.
Hey Ryan!!
Would like to see what the water ways look like after the chemicals start to work, it looked like the start, and shut off very accurate on the waterways
I was impressed at how well the spray worked around the waterways. I can get you some pictures
That's awesome that you could get them all together to compare them
looked like you might accidently kill your brome draws. but what a great way to get the job done !
Hats off to AgriSpray, Auenson Aerial Drones, and How Farms Work for this video. We've got more content like this for anyone curious about How Drones Work!
like how this vid came up today after we just had a drone spay our corn. A quail supposedly flew up today and took the drone out.
