I bought one. Pros: It has plenty of power, the suspension does well off-road, and it handles the twistie well. CONS: There is no electric windshield, backlit controls, or alarm. It only lowers the rear wheel in adaptive mode, and the jiffy stand is a joke. If you're not careful, it will only deploy halfway. The handguards are also a joke; they pop off the grips a little too easily. It's definitely a BA bike and is easy to ride. The cons were not a deal breaker, but I also had another HD for a trade-in.

I just bought one of these, and I totally agree with this review. My only criticism would be about the front suspension. Not the greatest; I may upgrade that. Overall for the price though, this bike is an amazing deal, and it looks fantastic.

That was really a funny video. I bought a 22 recently, brand new with lots of discount. Asked? Hey man, any reasons to buy a 23 or 24 version? No no, the only thing changed is the windshield "anti vibration thing". Now after 10 weeks and 3 breakdowns because of low battery by GOING 10.000 MILES IN THAT TIME. actually only motorcycle trips. I know. There has been starter, light machine and battery upgrades since then. F***** Enjoy your bike, keep us updated.

I walked away from Harley a few years back because of the price of the bikes and more importantly the money you pay for parts and labor. They absolutely kill you in the shop. You have to have deep pockets or be extremely handy working on them yourself. I’m extremely happy with my V -Strom 800 DE. Always love watching your videos Rik. One of my favorite channels. Stay safe on the road, things are wild out there these days

@@ThePoisonDrummer Honda has been producing that type of bike for a very long time. They have vastly superior experience. Their qaulity is second to none. Not super familiar with the current line but I think it might be called the "Navi" Anyway, I am just saying I would prefer it over the Harley.

@@ThePoisonDrummer A very popular you tuber that rides his Harleys in very difficult conditions in the Australian outback, he is an avid Harley supporter. He took an extended trip on the Pan American, his conclusion was that it sucks in off road conditions.

I have the 2022 Panam Special, the army green version, I love it, even with it's few problems. Mine is in the workshop at present, they are upgrading the alternator to the 2024 version, the old one broke, had a loose magnet that was causing it to cut out. I have dropped mine a few times, only scratching the crash bars. CVO Panam, I think it should have had the Screaming Eagle exhaust. I have a V&H muffler, it is fantastic.

@ThePoisonDrummer Yep!! What you said. I have the 2022 PAS with the Enthusiast Army/Vintage Paint. I take mine off road all the time. I use it but not abuse it. The guards are there to get scuffed up. I would totally rock a CVO!!! Thinking about trading up as well.
