My name is Dan Castle I’m a Marine Corps Afghanistan war veteran. Out of curiosity I travelled to Siberia in 2022. Without any intentions of staying, I traveled around in Lake Baikal. I met my fiancé Ksenia in the city of Irkutsk.
I make travel, educational, and documentary style videos.
I have lived in Russia for almost 2 years, and I intend to continue documenting my stay in this great country. This is a non-political channel. I am a proud United States, Marine Corps veteran.

Totally agree.... US Army special forces. 3 wars. I used to train soldiers. The latest batch is a total failure. They never even been in a fight before. I joined the army at 16.. I walked 4 miles to school rain or shine. I was working and going to school same time......the destroyed men.

My first language was English, Spanish was the language at home and used less than English. My accent is broken due to speaking 3 languages and haves lived for over half my life outside of the United States where English was not the language that was spoken. I pronounce a lot of words in English with German sounds still I have a lot of new mannerisms from Russian so I’ll never speak clearly again. I have 4 siblings all born and raised in America like me none of them have my accent.

Question sir: how do Siberians keep the water wells and pipes from freezing? In the winter does the public water not freeze?
The water is deep enough that it's insulated also the plumbing is ran in how water in winter.

Tanks are mostly obsolete in this war, they are nothing, but big, juicy targets for drones, anti-tank mines and artillery.

Good luck, Dan and Xenia! Speaking of the house plan you showed at 7:30 - better to extend the porch to the rightmost end of the building and swap guestroom and kitchen. Just to make Xenia's workplace close to entrance and provide her entrance visibility. Also it will be easier to make another small toilet besides the entrance.
