I am British, I did my military service in 1984 as part of the BAOR stationed in then West Germany. I now deliberately live in Bulgaria where men are still men and women are women. The last refuge are Eastern European countries, the difference between West and East Germans today is startling. The so called Liberal democracy is not so democratic, in fact you have less rights and more regulation over your life. In the UK, you can have a well paid job, but after taxes, fees and a high cost of living, you have less time and money than if you earned less but had the freedom in Eastern Europe. Russia to me is simply a consolidation of that lifestyle. It will be the last refuge of sanity until the Western Liberal democracies have all degenerated into a fraction of their previous greatness. The uni polar world is dying, we are witnessing the birth of a multipolar world, and it will take great effort and a couple of more generations for the Patriots to replace these weak degenerates in the West and restore society. However, for some it may be too late as they are importing migrants from a totally different culture that will wind up replacing what was there before. It is really sad, because it is totally avoidable, yet the Liberals are running full pace into a world they think will be better, one where they will eventually be at the bottom of society and despised.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. As a Russian woman I appreciate your truthful vision of our men. I lived in the west for 10 years and heard many times that Russian men are harsh and brutal, but no, they're just real men who's capable of making their woman, children, entire family, and the whole country feel protected. They're made of steel, but have plush hearts🥰 Recently I also heard from a french woman (that lived in many different countries and now is living in Russia) that Russia is the only county where women proudly say "OUR MEN". And to me it seems to be true.

  • @milamori_nfd

    @milamori_nfd

    Ай бұрын

@@robo__cop8154 well, as everywhere it takes complex of personal traits to be a good husband or a good wife, as well as people should match, etc🙂 But besides the common for different countries things, in my opinion there are 2 main reasons why: 1. Unlike the west, divorce in Russia is simply easy, cheap, and fast (if no children or property arguments, it takes only 1 month max) so people don't really have such obstacles as a mandatory 1 year of separation period before the divorce itself, generally don't have to pay crazy price for a lawer, etc Again generally, the most serious obstacle for a couple to divorce is a child, but it could be solved as well. 2. Also maybe we just still continue to get married?😅 Unlike the western countries. I know that plenty of people over there prefer to stay in partnership instead of getting married. So, no marriage = no divorce.

I'm from Russia. I'll tell you a secret. As a mother of five sons, I have been raising them as men since birth. They go to a good school. They listen to opera, watch ballet, study chess, compose music and poetry. They are well versed in both Russian and imported weapons. They can waltz... and fight very, very, very well. And they are learning English. You see, being city kids, they don't allow weakness. They were not made by superheroes with superpowers, but by real heroes. Have you heard about the pilot Maresyev, about Alexander Prokhorenko, Magomed Nurbagandov? These are their heroes. Not the Hulk, Spider-Man or Iron Man. Our boys have been told since childhood: "Men don't cry." They are taught the concept of "Homeland". They are taught history. They teach you to be proud of your ancestors. We are the heirs of a great history. And we have no right to betray the memory of our ancestors.

Im Russian from Moscow, so, firstly what I can say that is answer to your question (why russian men „manly” than american men) is much more complicated, bcs, for example, here in Moscow we have all the same facilities like in NY, but we have a very different traditions and our policy is much more traditional than yours guys. In every Russian family (I mean really every - 100%) we have veteran grandfathers and great grandfathers and we honor their memory and they are example for most of us to show who Is a real man and what he must do for his family, Motherland (one more example - in russian language we write „Motherland“ only with a capital letter). My great grandfather started WW2 in the defense of Moscow in 1941 and completed his combat journey in Berlin 1945.

You know, there were difficult times in Russia in the late 80s and early 90s. More than one generation grew up during that period, for whom military service was not even shameful, but torture and shame. They were brought up that way, brainwashed into thinking that way. But Russia has survived. In 2008 and 2014, there was a return to respect for the army and its actions. There are not only those who avoid mobilization, but also those who volunteer. And there are many of them. So many that a second or third wave of mobilization was not needed. It gives us joy and confidence to know that we in Russia have overcome a period of weak politicians and a weak state.

Yes, I understand that everyone doesn't care about history, but the fact is the fact.

The more I watch Daniel’s videos, the more I appreciate and admire the Russian people. I honestly see America declining morally. If our grid goes down for an hour, teens by the 1000’s would go crazy without the internet. We are divided by politics, religion, and ethnicity. Other countries may face the same dilemma, but American’s enable their own to continue these behaviors. It’s often sick to watch. Yes as a soldier of 20 years (1979-1999) in the US Army I’ve seen how the caliber of recruits is very different today than in the past. Todays recruits don’t seem as fit when entering basic training and are often technology dependent. It’s shocking to see they don’t know how to start a fire without matches, navigate with a mechanical compass or the stars, make themselves an emergency shelter, clean a fish or even complete a 12 mile road march or hike with a minimal 45 lbs rucksack. I thought at first they were faking it to get out of doing hard tasks but was truly shocked that the couldn’t do many if these tasks. Putin is absolutely correct. Men are men and women are women. Too many single moms raising boys when there should be a responsible man in the home to guide them in mens tasks. That’s how we got this terrible situation with the boy who is acting transgender. I feel sorry for him. Too much Tic Tok and not enough camping and male adventures.

Man I'm only 57 and it has gone completely mad, with full support from a lot of people. This is how it was for me and others in the 70s and 80s as a kid and young adult (graduated HS in 85). We regularly fought, shot bottle rockets at each other, wore out BB guns and shot cartons of .22 ammo. We hunted and fished year round, boxed with gloves, climbed trees, jumped bikes, ripped the shit out of our clothes, and my Mum was on a first name basis with the ER doc because I had to have stitches so often. Later it was broken bones. I did not have a single friend who was 'fat', or knew anyone who was confused by their gender. Also, I knew no one on any psychotropic medication, had peanut allergies, or suffered from needing a constant safe space. The biggest take away was just how normal it all was. No parents around EVER, no worries about some creepy asshole trying stuff, not worried about a shoot-up, no communication with parents all day but had to be home before dark. Schoolwork was a priority as was being respectful to your teachers (who still wore a tie or dress (for women 😉) and I can assure you, being hit with a paddle hurt like hell. Just to show you how crazy it is now with what I used to do: I use to reload rifle ammo for my buddies while in HS, and bring it to the cafeteria to get paid. I once came to school in a Halloween costume that had a huge bandoleer of 12 gauge ammo I reloaded around my chest. Principal was tipped off and when he 'caught' me, he said: "Give me that, and at the end of the school day come by the office to pick it up before you go home". Which I did and got on the BUS! No call to my parents, no drama, no detention, no SRT called, no put-downs, ; just being treated like a man. Hell, half the cars in the student lot had guns in them so we could hunt after school. My Bro is a teacher and he tells me just making a pistol with your fingers, and 'shooting' someone is instant detention or even more. Absolute madness in the USA and I hope too we can pull out of this steep dive. I love Russia and would love to be friends with them.

I mostly agree with Dan. Belarus-Russia leadership tries to promote high standards of men, fairness, freedom, and democracy. It looks like western leadership promotes self-destruction and unhuman propaganda right now. Yet, I kind of disagree about climate comparison. The climate in the European part of Russia is mostly stable and predictable. I miss the beatifull four seasons in Belarus. In the USA, there are plenty of winds, storms, floods, snow, and other natural disasters. Of course in remote Siberian villages, the climate is rough, but the majority of Russians live in European cities. I recommend living in Belarus or Southern Russia like in Crimea and Caucasus. Belarus can be too cold for some people, but Southern Russia is a safe resort place. Thanks for saying good words about Russia. Peace to all.

Our fortune is that we have 4 kids, so they can play together, ut only at home. We live on a cliff, almost alone in a valley, but the most scary of all is to let anyone see them playing alone, they may report to the social services. When I was young, we played the whole village freely, played with all the children and everywhere, roamed around freely, we learned to take care of ourself, something our children can not…. Only near our home. Fortunately we live surrounded by forest. By the way Im teaching my children Russian, Im learning myself, and want to prepare my children to go to Russia…

But among Russians, being an active homosexual in prison is not gay. And since for many in the Russian Federation prison culture is close to their hearts, the same thing has migrated into civilian life. Also, for the most part, Russians have a neutral and even normal attitude towards female homosexuality.

That's exactly my thought about the conditions the people live. The harsh conditions produce better soldiers. That's why the North Korea will win over the South Korea. Also, I noticed that the better live for the people, the more twisted their mind gets...

Russia has warm regions too like far East or Crimea (they have lions there). I'm 44 but I'm more and more thinking to go live in Far East of Russia. Many people there are Budhists and land is pristine and beautiful and reminds of Japan or Korea.
