I use oral finasteride 5 months ago , and I did not regrow hair until now is that normal?
What is the best carrier agent (alcohol, propylene glycol, liposomes, teichosol, other)?
The question is if it can work with taken more from donor area lets said the half of the donor area 6000 graft will it all grow back ?
No, we are not able to achieve 100% regeneration. Our previous protocol took years to gather enough data to confirm 30-60% regeneration. Our new protocol is generating more regrowth, but we can't come out with a new bold numbers until the pool is expanded. The are evident extraction sites in the video where new follicles are not growing in. Another important factor to consider is much of the hair in the donor area wasn't visible prior to the procedure because they had cycled out and a new hair needed to populate. Our protocol stimulated those hairs into anagen. Hair that remains in the anagen phase will not shed. While it does require continued maintenance to prevent hair from cycling, continued treatments will prevent the need for a future hair transplant.

This is bullshit. I don’t believe this guy looks like a scammer and of course I wish it wasn’t and was totally real, but seeing is believing and until he’s got some proof before and after photos, there’s nothing to believe here.
Possibly more than just one case, as doctor said he’s working on this for looong time.. lets see 🤞
Images were provided. There is a tattoo in the donor area to map the same location everytime. There are images before the procedure, immediately post op, and after regrowth. Even if you didn't believe the tattoo was in the same location. Compare the scars in the donor region to the result photos. There is clear pigmentation difference in some of the extraction sites. Though I understand a concern where you can find all the exstraction sites as the protocol does reduce scarring. The only way to improve on these images is to create a google earth scalp imaging layout to allow you to walk around the entire scalp.
More cases will be produced. Please note that many are reluctant to be in the study as you have to shave the donor area every time to be precise.
Seening that there is so little intressest in what you claim. I have a feeling that your burn some bridges and lied quite a bit.
The channel does not have a huge following. These are not claims. Pause the images. You can see the exact location of the tattoo. You can match the scars with the extraction sites, and you will see more hair in the donor area than was there prior to the procedure. This is factual evidence. You are one of the lucky few to see this result as information regarding cell based therapy is suppressed.
When Will the study that dr.cole did , be published?
When removing transplanted hair from the hairline, should I use FUE to remove it? Laser hair removal? Electrolysis? Which method leaves the least amount of scars?
Attempting to laser the hair off usually does not work. It will also make the removal process more difficult. You are better off removing with FUE than attempting the laser.
@@forhair Thank you for the detailed explanation. I have just one more question: when hair transplants from the hairline are removed with FUE, what percentage of them can be reused?
Why doesn't FUE leave any scars when the hairline is removed?
The removal process is not scarless, but the scarring is minimal and often require magnification to see. Another concern is pitting as a result from the prior bad hair transplant. Removal may not resolve the pitting issue. Though the reason this area heals so well is there is more blood flow to the front of the scalp than the donor area which reduces scarring.

Good job.
Thanks!
Really glad I found your channel (just subscribed). Do you notice a difference in efficacy between Ethosomes, Alcohol/ethanol, Propylene Glycol, Liposomes? Anecdotally, have you noticed better results with topical Fin vs Dut? Lastly, would you recommend that a patient apply the topical Fin or Dut at same time as topical Min?
How long the hair grow!?
between three and six weeks
Have you ever connected with Gary Hitzig? He was working with Acell and saw follicular regeneration ten years ago,
Dr. Cole is working with ACell since 2014.
What if you have diffused thinning? Do you apply fin everywhere on that scalp?
yes. you should first check if there are other reasons for your diffused thinning (ie: thyroid, hormones etc,,,)
Why is this video not complete based on the timestamps?

Me personally, I'm a 45 year old man using estradiol/estriol cream (a cent size daily), 5 mg oral finasteride, 5 mg of oral minoxidil, monthly kenalog shots and my hair is regrowing. The temples are filling in and vertex is looking full. I'm going to start using oral spironolactone soon and this I believe will give me the full hairline restoration. Hair cloning is not necessary if the follicular ostium are all present, it's just a matter of using the right therapies. I don't care frankly if I transition into a woman like body, as long as the hair is thick and can grow long is all that matters for me personally.
You are not the first person I've seen so focused on their hair. Be careful with the kenalog because it can shut down your adrenal glands. Monitor your cortisol levels. The estrogen can effectively chemically castrate you and protect your hair. You might also look at bicalutamide. Could you keep me posted on your progress? You are correct that as long as you have active hair follicles, you have a shot at re-growing them.
@@editorfuemagazine2751 Thanks for the tips! How should I contact you to keep you informed of my progress?
5mg of fin/min ? that's' a bit overkill right those are the prescribed doses for other medical issues
@@chasejoseph @chasejoseph Actually, you're right about that. However people my age, 40+, need a higher dose of finasteride, 2.5 to 5 mg to be effective, based on my reading. I'm doing 150 mg a day of oral spironolactone and seem to be fine. It's helping me be more regular too so that's a plus as I'm trying to lose a few pounds.

What about scarless wound healing?
The protocl we have has improved. This protocol looks in the Acell preventing it from seeping out which will improve the result. Also, are able to minimize scarring with our Zero T punch and should have a video coming out on the wound size. Lastly, our incisions are at a shallower depth which mitigates scarring. This combination of factors is a less invasive procedure, but anytime the body is penetrated to create a wound a scar is left behind.
shouldn't you be using gloves
I was literally wondering the same cuz it seems like you'd get hairy hands from this
Have been using everyday for the past 5 years without gloves. Yet to developement any new hair on my fingertips or knuckles.

From 2013-2020 I maintained hair well with generic oral finasteride and topical rogaine. After covid I stopped maintaining. I stayed on same protocol for 2 years still losing ground daily. In 2023 I switched to oral generic dutasteride and oral minoxidil (5mg)/day bit after a year, I'm still noticeably thinner and continue to lose ground. Since this protocol isn't working, I'm either going to switch to brand name oral Finasteride (brand Dut too expensive) or topical versions of both. Thoughts? Any input is appreciated.
There are many medications out there to combat hair. You may want to consider a genetic test to see what you respond best to. Name brand is a better product than generic. We do tend to see better results from topical treatments, but not everyone has the receptors to dissolve certain medications. All these treatments are designed to slow down hair loss, but they will not stop it. You could also try mesotherapy in conjunction with take home medical therapy to enhance the results.
I have been using XYON 2.5% topical finasteride with 3% minoxidil gel daily for the past 1.5 months. After the first 2 weeks I noticed some sides such as loss of sex interest and more importantly loss of morning erection (which I used to have daily before starting the topical gel). To exclude the psychological effect, I kept using the gel daily hoping things would change if it was only in my head. Unfortunately, It’s still the same sides. My concern is that this 2.5 % is super high dose (=25 mg finasteride on scalp). So even if very little absorbed, say 5% of the 25 mg, it means 1.25 mg goes systemic which is like an oral dose). Any insight or feedback ?! On a side note, not sure if it’s of any relevance, two weeks after starting the gel, I experienced problems in the two arms joints (shoulder and elbows) little pain and stiffness especially at night. This never happened to me before so I wondered if it’s related to the finasteride or it’s just a coincidence!!
Try going as low as .5 % finasteride with 3% minoxidil. There is still a risk of systemic side effects. Other than the loss of morning wood, are you still able to get it up if you try? Regarding joint pain, the is the first reported case I have come across. Have you changed anything else in your daily routine?
@@forhair thanks for your kind reply. Actually loss of morning wood has been a major concern for me. However, I’m not 100 sure if it’s nocebo effect, especially with my bad experience with oral propecia years back. I can still get erection from time to time but libido is low, again I’m not sure if it’s only in my mind. That’s why I keep using it hoping that my mind clears up. Yes, I do not believe that propecia causes this joint pain. However, I was concerned coz this pain (which I never had) started less than two weeks after starting the topical formula. Before starting the topical one 1.5 month ago I was using nutrafol supplement for 1 year (it has multivitamins and collagen). I stopped it just right before I started the topical finasteride, not sure if this caused a drop in collagen, vit D, etc that affected my joints, or something else….
@@user-pz8vo7wh6l I don't react well with Minoxidil and I use the 2.5% Xyon. Try applying it every 3 days to give your body a chance to clear some this will still allow your hair to be saved and not overloading your body. This is especially important while your body adapts.

Can we get an update on this case? I have very similar hair loss to this and I am curious about the result achieved.
I know this will sound horrible, but I honestly cannot remember this patient's name. This video would have been better used as a story than a post. I'll ponder who this might be, but the operation being over a year ago will be difficult to remember. I wish he had given me a full-face photo release.
AlmaTED seems like the best PRP and regenerative medicine delivery, good job. is it the way you deliver, or do you guys still do injections?
Patients have the option to either inject or deliver platelet lyste with the TED device. From a maintenance standpoint, the Alma Ted delivery system is a far less invasive product. The purpose of this video is to show that delivery by the TED device is just as effective as injections.

Hello Dr Cole, what’s the dosage of finasteride lipoderm gel? Thank You!
It ranges from .5% to 2.5% finasteride.

Funny kids😬
If you do it like shown, 80-90 % is in the hair and not on the scalp. Just massage it in by only using the dropper. May take a bit longer, but you need much less of the solution.
Follow the same pattern. Dr. Cole was in a rush that day to get to the airport. That was the second take. The examples hair was already greased up from the first take and his topical finasteride application that morning.
Is finpecia a good brand?
How long should I wait after my previous surgery before getting a hair transplant on my FUT scar?
it depends, if you had FUT then the scar should heal and you better wait 1 year, if the latest procedure was FUE the n after 2 months is safe
Side effects may be irreversible and include persistent erectile dysfunction, depression, suicidal tendencies, loss of libido, anxiety, and otheradministration of finasteride decreases social interaction and results in cognitive deficits, potentially through a cholinergic mechanism. Further studies are required to understand the exact link between the cognitive effects and the cholinergic system. neurological issues (ie. memory loss, altered mental status
Yes, these are all possibilities, but it is important to keep in mind that when the clinical study was conducted the age range of men was 45-80. There were 6.3% of men in the placebo that had sexual dysfunction compared to roughly 15% that were actually taking finasteride that experienced loss of libido. Were these men actually losing libido due to finasteride or because of age. There are always risk to a pharmaceutical. While very few people experience the side effects it is important to be aware of them. Should you experience any of the side effects mentioned, it is best to stop taking the medication. Thanks for sharing.
@@forhair incorrect!! Also majority of the high amounts of post finasteride syndrome patients are in their 20s and 30s. You should understand that Merck was fined millions for hiding reports of injured men from their studies as well . I am contacted daily by men suffering and getting swiped under the rug from majority of doctors but now the true doctors are coming through for men suffering. Studies also show 186 brain DNA genes have been altered. This is a serious epidemic and it's only going to get worse with doctors downplaying the men who have been permanently injured.
Which is more effective for camouflaging fut scars: beard transplants or smp? Also, which one should I try first?
it depends, you should get a consultation and let the doctor decide after examine your scars

Thanks for commenting troll.
Also 0.7 mg of Finasteride is also effective sir , fda say also 0.2 mg per day is effective
Taking finasteride will combat hair loss. The low concentration won't deliver homerun results, but they are better than nothing.
Hey Doctor, amazing work! I would like to know if topical finasteride lose efficacy over time. Does minoxidil lose efficacy to? Thank your for you work!
What we do know is that as your age treatments like finasteride and minoxidil become less effective. Those that start these treatments in their 40's will not respond as well as those in their 20's. One of the reasons is there are more follicle stem cells in a 20 year old than someone in their 40's. There isn't any data on minoxidil or finasteride losing efficacy the older you become. However, I wouldn't rule it out as we do see with other drugs that tolerance does build up and higher concentrations need to be prescribed to achieve the same desired result.
How long does it take to see visual changes? I have just started using it.
While topical finasteride begins its action right away, it takes time for your hair follicles to start generating new hairs. Typically, you'll have to wait three to six months before noticing any shifts in your hairline or thickness after commencing treatment with this treatment.
application is wrong you have to pat it in instead of rubbing
that works too :)
@@forhair but its suboptimal for the hair amd most of the liquid is disributed in the hair rather the skin of the scalp there are several studies abt that commin to the conclusion tapping is better than rubbing
Yes more of it is absorbed by the hair than by the scalp with the tapping method. Tapping is also very benfitcial to those that like to style there hair every few days and cannot mess is up by rubbing it in. If you were to compare the results for tapping vs. rubbing there probably won't be a visible difference. The benefit of rubbing the treatment is time. It is far quicker to rub the topical in than it is to tap. The chief complaint about the topical is the amount of time it take to treat the area. Regardless of the method, it is better to be on a topical than not do anything at all.@@eventhorizoneventhorizon2021
