I spent a few hundreds $ investment ($800+ for me) and get Eufy 3 installed on my house. I am regret and very disappointed it now. At first it is all working great! But after a few months, the software update push, causing all kinds of issues and it is hard to get help/supports from EUFY. I bought the EUFY 3 Security kit and have 4 cameras hook up to it (WIFI) with 4TB SSD on the homebase, and was thinking of adding an additional camera - but not anymore. It ran very well for the first 2-3 months. After that they pushed the update to my homebase (S380), then it become very unstable ever since. I have to reboot my homebase every 30 min. or every few hours if I want to get the history recorded. It's a pain in the butt! Lastly, two days ago, i set my security mode to night time, and the homebase become totally defunct! I could not get it to connect to the network anymore. Tried resetting (as indicated on reddit / eufy tech support website, but nothing is working). Eufy supports only works on M-F (8-4 PST).

Good video. One tip: this sun shade looks like all corners are the same height. This will cause leaves and debris to collect in the middle. Instead, make one set of diagonal corners higher than the other set. That will make the sail into a parabola shape and nothing will collect on the shade. \

I can’t find out any info about that happens if there is an electrical service blackout and the WiFi goes down, does every individual camera has the 16Gb of memory or you lose the video feed? I know I can use a PC battery backup like with any other system. But it will be good to know what happens

I spent about $60 in total chemicals last year (e.g. calcium and reducing phosphates). I set my cell to 30% and make sure my pump is set to turn over the water the recommended amount of time per day. That’s it. I have my water tested every 2-3 weeks and 95 % of the time, they say the water is perfect. IMO Saltwater is easy and far less expensive.

The clear is the worst! I put it on my 18 foot, Intex XTR round pool and it lights so much light in, it created an algae bloom and it took me 2 weeks and its still not completely clear. But it lets in so much sun and traps a lot of heat, my pool stayed at a minimum of 85 degrees daily in North Carolina.

I love having these Solder shrink wraps In my shop for the few times a year, I solder wires. It would be different if I was using them often. I find that it’s actually encourages me to solder the wires rather than just wrap and use black tape. So while you’re comparing it to our proper soldering, I’m comparing it to a twist and tape. L O L so in my situation, it’s always preferable to use the solder wraps.

So the reason use soldeeseal type is because I can't solder even if my life depended on it. Being able to solder the traditional method takes a lot of practice and experience which I just don't have. I'm sure pros that do this for a living have the skills to solder and make it the best connection possible)e. On the flipside is someone like moi. Who isn't a professional and only need to solder from time to time as need arise. There's no way I can solder like a pro . So solderseals makes it easy for me to tackle these needs that Come up every once in a while.

So I have 11 zones in my system. My system runs off of a shallow well with a 2 Hp pump. System comes on fine with timer and works great until it reaches zone # 8. At that point pressure drops dramatically in zone #8 and only a small stream comes from one or two of that zones heads. I then go to my well pump and crack the threaded bleeder on top of the impeller housing. air bubbles will then come out and within a minute or two zone #8 will pressurize and come to life. The system will then finish off the remaining watering cycle without a hitch. Next day this same problem will repeat. What might I check in my system? Thanks

  • @DoItYourselfDad

Have used them a lot, they are very good if you have the space to maneuver your heat source around the connection hovever often you will be using them to repair wires in cramped spaces then they are rubbish. Problem is that too much heat will burn though the plastic tube and getting to heat the rear side is not always possible (example. headlight wiring on cars)

Cool tip fact: if people have their garage from the outside painted white their inside garage will stay 11 to 17°C/20 to 30°F cooler automatically compared to a darker colour garage because white is a great reflector of the sunlight that reflects 80 to 90% of sunlight meanwhile darker colours absorb more heat radiating it everywhere making it hotter and that something they are not going to want in hot climates so they need to go with white garages instead. On the other hand if they are in colder climates where they get mostly winter, then a darker colour or black coloured garage would be more acceptable because it absorbs a lot more heat to keep their garage warmer but if they get both summer and winter which basically most of us do then they all should get a colour garage that is between a lighter and darker colour to even out the temperature for all four seasons 👍. Great video by the way 😊
