Ripping down that hill! I was the original designer of that Downhill course. Built from scratch and it is great to watch this video, brings back memories of crawling through bushes scoping out a route. So many memories of how I kept trying to expand the length and go where no one imagined to go, when all that was there was just tall grass and dense brush. So many awesome people helped me along the way in those early years of the Sea Otter DH. Great to see your winning run on a course I created from a hill behind the shooting range! congratulations!!

Thank you for all that hard work as it shows. Its hard to design a course in an area that is relatively flat with mostly sand. The result is something that keeps me wanting more!

we walked this trail many times as kids. Did you go past the end point? Not sure if its actually allowed however it is the most beautiful site you will see if you climp to the tip top where the satalites are located. its unbelievable. you cant see any homes in the valley, everything from above looks covered in trees.

It's a love hate trail. Even in the dry you have to pump alot and even then I can't get the big step up that comes out of the left hander berm. I know others can get it so it's doable. Maybe next time.

Unhelpful advice: I think it would be cool if you overlaid some secondary audio over your video of your self commentary on your line choice or how sections of the trail are, comment if there is a go pro effect going on, things to watchout for or expect. Ive never ridden Greer but looks fun!

Can you tell me where to climb to start this trail? I am familiar with Vail but I can't figure out from the videos where it starts. Thanks!
@enduropeteSD5 ай бұрын
When you climb towards the very top of the trails, after the tight switch backs at the top you have a fork where you can take the "fire road" straight up the last 30 feet to get to the top, or a short switchback. When you are at the point you need to go left instead of going up higher. It's like a wide fire road. The entrance will be on the left.

I see those 2 headlights up on the pitch black mountain when out on a walk and think “who are those nuts?” Now I know😂 I’m impressed by how much detail and stabilization your camera gets at night. And one thing that overcomes the GoPro effect some is the dust particles flying by like Starwars. I bet doing the rock step up climb at night is spicy! Great video of super night riding!
