After taking a tire gamble that had not been paying off in this wet race, I re-aligned my expectations before hitting the third stage. The shock of the trail conditions was so great for a moment I forgot this was a race. Definitely a humbling experience, as I have seen DH races in the wet but never really experienced it. That being said, I am looking forward to another wet race so that I can redeem myself.
