  Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the matter. I believe, even with the advancements in removal tech and better accessibility, people should go into getting tattooed without that option in the back of their head. I think the permanence of it is still a big part of what makes tattooing what it is. And of course getting huge chestpieces without being fully committed because removal might be an option (which it often isn't) is ill advised. I have the utmost empathy for every impulsively tattooed person, be it because of them going through some stuff or simply being (too) young, but people shouldn't even consider getting tattooed if they can't picture themselves having it for the rest of their lives imo. I have a bunch of tattoos I wouldn't get today but it's kind of the beauty of it too. Think hard before you move and learn to love and forgive yourself. Nobody's perfect. ❤

  I recently got a red tattoo and I have just been very discouraged with what is out there on the internet. It is just a line red tattoo of a sun in my upper arm but I came to realize quite quickly that it was not the right decision. Your video just sparked a bit of hope on the fact that I might be able to get it fully removed <3r

  I had 2 punch biopies done this past Moday because I had of my 2nd horrible inflamation and irritation in both large tattoos in both arms. The bumps and welts were bad and stayed within the borders of the tattoos. Keeping in mind they were both over 5 years old. There is a reaction you get get to RED ink years later and is typically a sign of an autoimmune disease like Sarcoidosis. I am waiting on my results but I thought it was good information to put out there. Thank you for the information. I am a freckled red head with moles also that get checked frequently! 🙂

  I watch this movie sporadically throughout my life and i love it every time. But recently I can kinda see why CRITICS in particular didnt like it. There's a lot of the ingredients for good writing but they aren't used. like a quick example off the top of my head is they plant the seed for a bit of tension between harriet's parents and golly but its kinda hard to tell at first and they do nothing with it so that when harriet's mom blows up on golly it comes out of nowhere. This movie works more like a series of events than a story. Which is okay.

  THE best written moment (which I didn’t notice at first) was when golly leaves. It had so much subtext while saying little. Golly shedding a tear as soon as she looks away from Harriet is *chef’s kiss*. Because it shows us that golly wants Harriet to be strong so golly is staying strong for her and she only show’s the deep down vulnerability once Harriet is left behind

  i remember saving this video to my watch later playlist before i ever even considered getting surgery. my friend told me about him not having the post nasal drip after getting his septoplasty and i was like bro.. no way.. anyways, i currently got the face bra on, one day after, and my throat is so sore but hearing you explain being able to breathe after the post op experience makes me want to cry. being intubated for only a couple hours was miserable. can’t wait for it to be over. this video helped me keep my mind off the pain.

  I agree with you. We get tattoos for a bunch of different reasons, but they are CUSTOM made for us in some cases. I don’t think people should line for line copy them. Changing that piece is different than replicating it. A reason why I’ll never post my sleeve online

  I just covered my left thigh with a tattoo that’s twice the size I thought it would be. I don’t hate it but it’s just too big I feel like I don’t love it enough to have it that big. And it was supposed to be a matching piece but now I’m having second thoughts about the other thigh tattoo so I don’t know what the fuck to do. I don’t know if it’s better to get the next one and just finish it or not take it further so for now I’m just moving onto other things and wearing pants…

  I went to the best doctor in NYC, Roy Geronemus who does tattoo removal for pete davidson and other celebrities. He says white can be removed with a 1064 wavelength after the white oxidizes to the grey. They just treat it like a regular black tattoo. There are studies published about white ink fading after it oxidizes, they call it paradoxical darkening. Don't spread false information it could ruin lives.
