  Italian Stiletto was only OTF and not out the side. It was made to be out the side to be legal to sell in the US. This happened before the 50s. A true Stiletto would force your hand back when operating into something it can't peirce. All otf nowadays are weak. 😂

  I prefer their classic stiletto type (eg; bayonet blade and straight handle with flared pommel). Still for "practical" use this drop point classic blade is probably better. How's the guard by the way? I owned a couple of these; the guard was rock solid on one, but loosened up to a wobbly, floppy mess on the other one after a couple weeks. Not the best QC on these I think -- their Extreme series is far better quality for a relatively small increase in price. Try the [Extreme] Ace if you like stilettos and the Evo if you like '80s retro style OTFs. I'll vouch those models are on par with regular production Microtech, but at far lower price.

  I may be wrong but the way I've been told back from the 70s is that a switchblade fires out the side a stiletto fires out the top. As I said I may be wrong but it is one way that makes sence of the two differences ?

  Hi Scott, I grew up believing the same! Only as an adult collector did I learn that Stiletto is a style of knife, that is most frequently OTS out the side opening (think West Side Story). However in my recent research I did find that some Stiletto style knives were in fact OTF. I believe a single action OTF. These knives are extremely rare and valuable if you come across one.

  @@will-i-am6953 never ended up buying one. Cus I wanted THE big stiletto knife. Originally I only saw 13” as the biggest but shortly learned about the 18” stiletto so I said fuck it. I don’t need a big useless knife😂that’s how I am, If I cant or don’t want to get the best, I just don’t get one at all.

  They just put a few more cosmetic upgrades on the new cab. Both cabs are awesome looking for sure, but I did sell my Starwars A1Up as it didn't get played after awhile.

  I to also like the artwork on the new Star Wars 40th anniversary 2023 version 2 cab over the original 2019 version 1. However, I still plan to hold on to my original version 1, as I had just installed a brand new GRS Fight Yoke on my cab, giving it a brand new feel to it. I had also put in an order for those brand new bezel frame pieces for my cab and a Arcade1up coin door slot panel plate, to give it a more updated appearance. I plan to purchase one or maybe two of the new Star Wars 40th anniversary cabs, for collectors purposes.

  Oh no! Don't sell the old one! You can have both units playing different games, and you never know when you'll need a backup. Either way, definitely grab the bezel mod from Etsy. Got mine in last week, and it looks amazing. Thanks for the video. :)
