Haha.. I just bought one yesterday and now I see your video.. hoho.. and I had a BM800 over there as well .. now I have to say that setting the mic with gain level 75 (as you indicated in one of your videos) the noise was totally blow off! So, right now it is working just perfect. The card came with another mic also cheap en-core 300 and it works better than the BM800 must said. I found very nice that the accompanion background music I can add it through BT with no more cables. I just needed the V8 to use the condensed mics properly to record some audios. BTW your channel is amazing.. thank you so much for your dedication and professionalism .. had to said as well.. big hugs from Costa Rica.

Yup i do have a v8 soundcard and it sounded terrible at first but after some *modification and upgrades* it did sound good with a pair with my expensive wireless mic but the bad side is my phone don't detect the soundcard as microphone input which i planned to buy a mixer that supports recording input and output ❤️

Hi! I'm new to this condenser world stuff. I just bought an upgraded version of the bm800 mic, but this one is different. It comes with a 4 pin xlr cable unlike the older version that has only 3 pins. Is there a way I can plug this 4 pin xlr condenser mic into my mixer which only has 3 pins sockets?
@michael31472 ай бұрын
i am also new, but you can simply buy a 4 pin xlr to 3 pin xlr cable or adapter. it's quite simple actually. remember to check your male and female xlr ends!

Your mic comparison is useless. You used the phone's built in mic, and compared it to computer connected mic. What you should have done is use a phone mic, and then use the Boya on same phone, so we can get an idea. You are comparing apples and oranges.

This would be my first professional mic to use for my podcasts. I do my podcasts over zoom. I got a few questions: 1. Does this work with zoom? 2. Is there any hissing sound? 3. Does this also catch fan sound or outside noises? 4. Does it look nice on video? Because all this doesnt seem very nice aesthetically.

Lol. I got two behringer ecm8000s, two totally completely not were they supposed to be WVNGRS (is that like a Chinese clone of behringer being chinese?), a 24bit 192 bit audio interface (32bit?), a 32bit 384khz USB DAC/ADC, 17.2 channels, some piezo-electric pickups, etc, some plumber diagnosis thing, etc. Firstly, I got two multiplugs with overvolt, surge protection etc. That completely removed the hiss/buzz on the output. But now I also I got a ground loop isolator (coz the neighbours are stupid and the wiring is retarded). Have a good day. *There are things I would say about BT, but most people are kinda deaf. Shit codecs, 16bit things/file formats, low frequency rates, congestion, limited bandwidth, etc. Imagine for instance, 16bit is only 65536 values (coz that's the truth), 32bit is around 4 billion values. Good audio is higher precision, 32bit 384khz, for instance, is just plainly better than 16bit 44.1khz (or whatever else is less), but interference issues, etc are all factors. With higher bitrate and higher frequency rate you get higher clarity and lower latency (if the hardware is good enough), it's like the graphics on a NES vs a PS5 or something like that, as an analogy. Ohm, and windows 10/11 is garbage.

I got this because it was the same cost as just the microphone I was looking at and I'm not a fan of the metallic sounds I have when I speak through it. Plugging the mic in to my capture card runs a much cleaner sound. I got this because my headset microphone sounded horrible on my video's once I got it actually working. (just starting out and hoping to put out content that doesn't sound like I'm talking through a snare drum or wet sock. lol)
