A very good phrase to use while testing for your EQ peaks is: The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. You can follow it up with: She sells sea shells by the sea shore. The first phrase covers a wide spectrum of sounds, and is good for general EQ. The second in particular will help with your highs.

Always try cutting frequencies first instead of boosting. You can start cutting out mids first and this will naturally boost the low and high ends at the same time, while staying zero’d out. Tweak and tune, record your voice with and without gameplay, and don’t rush it 💪

Great video! I've always had trouble with EQ-ing audio whenever I make videos and this definitely helped me a lot! Anyway, an IMPORTANT NOTE TO EVERYONE. You have keep the Audio-Graphic EQ open because it won't work if it's closed. That means that you have to keep launching it every time during start up (which is annoying) and I hope Voicemeeter does something about it. I've definitely had moments where I thought my mic sounded great but had my EQ off while recording gameplay.

I use the beats studio 3 would that be ideal for finding my voice in an accurate manner? Cause to my ear it sounds pretty level on the highs and lows the mids sounds pretty good as well. But it's as close as I can get. Plus I'm using this program for music production purposes and Livestreaming as well video recording. I just want to get the most out of this program. I need a noise gate, compressor, gain control, limiter, and a equalizer for the best quality audio. But I need it to sound clear and not basey in the low end but more equal to the ear in lows highs and mids. I'm very picky when it comes to recording. But also would like that high end feel. I use the Shure SM7B, and Shure SM57 for vocal recording and streaming. I don't use a cloud lifter for the simple reasoning Shure themselves told me it wasn't a need just a good end mixer and I bought what they recommended me. So all I need now is a virtual mixer that can do all of those things I previously mentioned.
