I've been having some lifting/breakage problems with sculpting gel extensions (medium size) on really short bitten nails. Maybe it only happened because I'm a beginner, but I was wondering if it's a common thing for extensions to be more fragile on this type of nail. Has anyone ever experienced the same issue? P.S. I would like to ask why not just dry the nails for a minute and a half and that way we will be sure that it has heated and dried properly And I'm not talking about the cheap lamps because anyone who buys a low-quality lamp knows that. Perhaps the experiment is important for those who purchased a quality drying lamp to know that it does the job well and gives them value for money

Hi Liz, unrelated to the current video. But I wanted to ask about the dot mini. I got it per your recommendation; I have back problems when doing my own nails, and this allows me to sit on the couch- reducing the stress in my back. However, until recently, I've only used LE products. I ran into a problem with my Ultra Gloss (Akzenze) & wonder what is going wrong. I remember you saying that this lamp will cure anything needed, so is it possibly user error on my part? Or is it possibly my battery, mentioned in one of your Instagram posts regarding rechargeable lamps. Any guidance would be appreciated, as I also do hair on occasion which makes the Ultra Gloss essential to my kit. I hope this finds you well, & Thank You so much for all of the education over the years, allowing me to be successful.

No. The flat shape makes them prone to breaking.
Tea bags are just made of paper, i use a silk wrap, Some better wigs have a Meshed thin fiberglass trim at the top of the wig, that you have to trim, that works very good too
Thanks so much you are the best teacher ever! I have pulmonary Fibrosis and I used to grow my own nails and I’m a girly girl. Since getting sick I have stopped working (I am a nurse) and now I am on palliative care. I needed something to do, a hobby to keep me busy and I have decided since I’m not up to going to the nail salon anymore that doing gel nails will be my new hobby. My disease has caused me to have “clubbed nails” and they are getting worse. I hate the way my nails look. I can still grow them but they look horrible. I have found one company that makes dual forms wide enough for my thumbs as my mail beds are quite wide. I haven’t perfected the nail form YET but I am learning thanks to people like you and Susie at NCE. I saw your video you did together! Again, I really appreciate all you do for us! It puts a smile on my face when I look down and have beautiful nails again. ❤️😊💄💅👋

I have two P+ colors and I use my gel polish to polish over acrylic nails. The P+ constantly peels and chips off the acrylic. Can you tell me why?
Most acrylic techs polish it smooth with a buffer which gives the gel nothing to grip to. Instead leave your acrylic a little rough after finish filing and use a bonder or base coat if needed.

@thenailhub I been llooking into a ton of builder gels and most contain HEMA,di-HEMA is this still a risk if you cure the product properly? Or are you at risk with a fully cured product with HEMA too?
Hi! I’m hearing lots of things about making sure your base coat isn’t too acidic? How is the ph of light elegance? I’m used to using Kokoist mega stick but it’s quite acidic!
