Not if you build the box with the right bracing inside. Had those amps mounted that way for over 2 years and they still work just fine.

I haven't had a single issue but the guy that built my box put in extra supports inside the box to help with it. I'm now in the process of putting in a full amp and battery rack with the middle seats were.

I got the ZVX D1's and wired the voice coils together, positive to positive and negative to negative and ran each sub into their own channel on the amp. Go to this from skar. Should help a lot more. help.skaraudio.com/article/lx5b6thibo-dual-voice-coil-subwoofer-wiring-guides

William Gay runs 4 ZVX 15's, each with their own SKV 4,500, so I would say yeah. As long as the amp is tuned right.

My stock alternator couldn't keep up so I now run dual alt's. My second one is a 390 amp from Brand X. The box is tuned to 35 hz but my sweet spot is 38 hz. Did a 149.82 db on a 38 hz burp the other day. Sorry no Instagram lol

It is a 4500. I got mine for black friday 2 years ago along with the two 15's when the whole store is 20% off. It's a beast of an amp but make sure you got the juice to push it.

I've got these two ZVX 15's on a SKV 4500 @ 1ohm in an 07 Tahoe and I'm not doing hair tricks. Maybe in something smaller but not in my Tahoe.

cheechmaster337 do I need a second battery for my 2014 veloster? I’m installing one EVL 18 and I’m going to run it on 1400 watts roughly. Also if i need a second battery would I need a higher output alternator?

@@DatHondaBoi223 yes u need a 2nd battery and i would recommend a high output alt. Plus, future expansion, adding amps, etc. Big 3 upgrade definitely and good ofc power wire runs. If only running 1 1400w amp and never gonna add anything else, you could get away with just adding a sec battery without upgrading the alt but definitely want the big three upgrade and very important, ofc wire. At least use 1/0 awg wire and i would do 2 power wire runs. Ground wire from alt to front batt and then run the ground to the back second batt. Try to make sure they are the same capacity and brand in my opinion. Doing this will keep your equip supplied with power and healthy. Electrical and grounds are the most important thing in car audio, facts. For grounding wires, sand/grind down to bare metal for best connection, then spray with clear coat, some kind of protectant to prevent rusting. Grounds complete the circuit, very important. Good luck. Purple haze out. Also, get a voltmeter. I have a soundquebed vm and a stinger vm, two of the best imo. Sq was. 28.00 and the stinger was like 18.00 on ebay. Moniter ur voltage for ur equip and electricals sake.

@@DatHondaBoi223 also, dat evl 18 could take 2 1400w amps, just saying or a 2 or 3k. Im buying a apex 350 amp alt for 450.00+ painting. Check them out, they will build you one, whatever you want and they have cheaper ones and let you make payments till its paid then they ship it to ya. Mechman makes awesome alts too, just more expensive.

@@Theyoufeelme yes they really will..i have 4 zvx 15's with 4 sk4500's for a year now..no smoke this away..you'll be suprised what clean power and the right box can do...i gain matched my amps to about 3500 watts a piece burping at my peak.

This is 2 days after install so they weren't broke in yet. I've since added a dual alternator bracket and now waiting on my new 390 amp alternator from Brand X. I'm very excited 😁🔊
