  The only difference is that Alice's helicopter parenting used to be more comical in the early seasons than downright disturbing. I think she officially became the worst mother, next to Penelope, when the Polly story line was introduced.

  I think the money and criminal implication stuff was fine bc alice probably had a deal with the fbi (so they'd cover/reimburse costs and give her and the others immunity). I also think it's likely charles wasn't totally following normal fbi "code" or whatever (because he's also a sketchy liar), and that's why their "investigation" was so batshit and unethical (ok maybe the unethical fbi part isnt *that* unrealistic) What can't be forgiven or even explained is sending betty to the sisters of quiet mercy (or how the hell that place isn't already, or even after this, shut down)

  2:40 what I love about this scene is they make it seem like she's all unhinged and storming in and overdressed but like...shes just walking into an event (with a lil strut sure, but uts just the music that makes it so dramatic) The only thing "scandalous" is the snake necklace referencing/acknowledging/reclaiming her serpent past But look at how those womens jaws are DROPPING lmao
