The Kraemer Life

The Kraemer Life

Welcome to The Kraemer Life.

We are the Kraemers; Nate and Katie and our four-legged children Kinsley and Floyd with guest appearances by our two-legged children, Ryan and Ethan.

This channel will document our journey as we intentionally change from the suburban rat-race lifestyle to a more meaningful and simplified life. We both desire a drastic change in living, eating, and loving. We will capture the good, the bad, the funny, and the sad.

We start by selling our house and nearly everything we own. Next, we purchase and move into an RV trailer, and travel around the country in search of the perfect place to build a farm and homestead; where we will grow our own food, raise livestock and other food-producing animals, and live a more meaningful life. Please join us on our journey.

Sincerely,
Nate and Katie

p.s.
Watch out for the #kraemerisms; these are the odd things both Katie and I do and say make us who we are.

I have no doubt you will create a beautiful home. Your preciseness is both a gift and a curse. I live that same conflict. I’d love to come see the final product.

I agree! Great job with the work and the video of the work; it was another really good one. It seems like something can't be right about finding it relaxing and entertaining to watch ppl hard at work, but it is for some reason. So thanks for letting us watch while y'all figure it out and 'get 'er done' ;-)

Wow you’ve done a lot of clean-up and work. I just had a thought about your basement m, maybe later on you could dig out and up to make flatter straight walls and maybe dig down a bit more to make it a taller basement. And make it another room or a place where it would possibly be a cooler place in the summer to get away from the heat of the summer. It’s just a thought I know it would be a huge project, if it’s a good idea I just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys. Not like you don’t have a lot to do right hahahah lol funny funny anyways it’s coming along really good. And I will be waiting g on your future videos of the floors being built. And finished so you can continue the inside of the house. Hope you guys are staying cool and hydrated. It was 110 today here in Arizona. Hope your day is a good one.

Nate, fill a spray bottle with white vinegar and spray the weeds. Do this after the dew has dried and you are having a day of sunshine. This will kill the weeds for you. Enjoyed the video very much.✌🏻❤️🙏🏻

Getting outside help is such a motivator. I am lucky to have someone clean 2x a month. That makes me want to do a lot of other things. Before I kind of shut down and did nothing because it was too much. Isn’t it nice to get things accomplished ? Except I broke the lawn mower again!!! I over estimate what my old snapper can do!!! I guess rubber burning smell and white smoke aren’t good !!!!😵‍💫🥴😳

Your perseverance to get this done right is very impressive. So glad you're going to get some help. Both you and your wife's research and willing to learn the proper way to do stuff says a lot about your work ethic and the way you live your life. Great job to the both of you.

Construction can be incredibly challenging when you don’t have the background. I. think that you getting help is absolutely the smartest thing to do. I am thankful for Jim and his work, so it can help give you some peace about the floor. I watch every video on this channel on on the other one as well. 🤞🏻that Tuesday is incredibly busy and gets you to a place where you can relax and start the other soon to be frustrating 😉projects.

Nate, I think you like to have things nice and neat and everything put away. When you feel like things are here, there, and everywhere then you want to put these away, but then things start piling up to a point where our brains say, it is just too much- not today. I so so so get this!!!
