Nate, I watch you function as the contractor, sometimes engineer, and marvel at all you are doing to restore your home. I actually have no clue what you are doing, yet I follow along, fascinated. If it were me in there removing joists, the house would have fallen in by now. And if yours truly were rewiring that 1930’s electrical web of fraying confusion, no doubt I would have ignited a fire OR I’d have to rewire the entire house for having screwed up the circuitry big time. So I’m just sittin’ here watching Nate do it all and looking forward to the day when you can stand back and smile at what you’ve accomplished through your skills and determination. ❤

Wow Nate that job is daunting. I'm overwhelmed at what you have to done and also what you have accomplished to date. That is a task and then some. It's going to be beautiful when it is done however so one bite at a time. You will be able to figure out anything after this is all done. Actually owning our own properties, it's never all done........LOL Kudos and hang in there. It is going to be amazing!

Well wouldn't you know it... today's upload from Outdoors with the Morgans featured an articulating tractor like yours - and he pointed out many of the same features that you did when you were talking about all the reasons you chose it... that it really is the perfect tractor. Of course, he rented the tractor for a week... so he doesn't get to keep it - but he said that he plans to move to buy something like it when he gets done with all of his dirt work/earth/equipment moving jobs. I love to see you make progress and I love that you are doing everything you can to get this done right. Thanks for sharing this journey with us.

I know many people enjoy or benefit from watching these vlogs, but I find them boring majority of the time. So anyways, I endure (I heard if a video isn't watched to the end, it doesn't get credit for a view) and I always give a thumbs up to support your channel. Love the Kraemer Life, always! Thank you folks for sharing the ups and downs and the dos and don'ts, it's a great learning process for us while you learn 😊.

@devinatusi5035 - I appreciate your commitment to our channel - As for watching all the way through, I think it's ok to stop watching it when you want to - no need to watch all the way through if you don't want to. I will be putting out (lots) more of these house reno videos, and it's really ok for you to skip them. I'd rather you watch the videos that you enjoy instead. But again, I really do appreciate you. thank you.

Anchor a angle iron or treated 2 buy 4 at the bottom of the joist as a ledger. That acts as a joist hanger a.nd gives you something easy to measure off of.

Because your truck has sides, 2 short straps looped around packs of timer/lumber, steel whatever, one on one fork and one on the other, lift. Put down on gluts and then pick up again under the back without straps to travel. No swing when moving the item.
