    ❤ thank you for the amazing extra info regarding homegrown foods. I needed to hear this as ive swayed away by (bad planning) not eating much veggies this last 2 years. I got chickens and they free range. ( need to stop that!) Gardens will save the pocket and good mental health. And im a pancreatic cancer survivor of 11 years❤

    Thank you for a very informative video. I am just wondering is the pest moss in the cups, and later do you ever add the water from the top ?

    How long does it take for a plant to get this size? I love artichokes!

  • @markoliver-ww9ld
    @markoliver-ww9ld10 ай бұрын

    I have Artichoke starters in 4 inch pots after 6 weeks I can plant in my garden, than 4 weeks later you can start to fertilize with 20-0-0 every week, the are heavy nitrogen feeders and water as well, will be about 6 months for 1st harvest, unless you missed the season will take longer.

    Which part of the US , is this please ? It’s 10 c cooler under this tree, than the surroundings. Growing up in India , this tree was kept for shade and the leaves were used with turmeric to cure chicken pox.

    The EGYPTIAN SPINACH has long skinny pods. Your plant looks just like mine. Strange, I am wondering if there are different strains of ES? I got my first seeds from Jake Mace who was a friend of John's I Also saw John's video on Egyptian spinach.

    What is your growing zone? I understood it would not live through the winter in zone 7 and I would have to bring it inside for the plant to survive.

    You must be in Texas. Your crop selection looks a lot like mine this summer. Okra, Cowpeas, Molokhia, Peppers. What county? Do you have the black clay or the grey limestone clay?

    All my seeds sprouted and then instantly went brown, withered and died, when potted up in the same potting mix I've made for all my successful plants, bottom watered, started inside under a light, at 80 degrees indoor temp. Is this normal? Is this one of those 1 seed out of 20 makes it plants? Any other ideas?
