This video will be super helpful. I had at one point most of the background sound go all weird on me when i was not sure what order to put the mods in. So I have just put all the big stuff first and that seemed to sort it out. Though occasionally I've noticed Sarah's outfit reverts back to the original colours. Hopefully this video should help me sort that out and know what to do if i download more mods ❤
What about mods that retexture weapons? Like turns certain weapons into Star wars weapons? (Also, amazing job and thank you for doing this!)

a lot of mods have patches but you have to install the mog first

Wanted to hurt myself by modding fo4 again and noticed that that the commands to download the automatron and wasteland workshop threw up errors and apparently steam just Decided I didn't own the dlc anymore so thank you todd and steam very cool

Please use community Patch NOT Unofficial Patch. Google what Arthmoor did to the Skyrim modding community and avoid a future in which it repeats again.

What did Arthmoor do? He made some great mods for skyrim & the awesome unofficial patch for skyrim, fo4, & now for starfield. I've relied on all three & they work great. It seems like a "blame Emil Pagliarulo" style witchhunt to me at this point.

Nobody recommends using the Unofficial Starfield Patch, it causes no end of problems for many many people, if you have it, delete it and use the Official Starfield Patch instead.
Thank you for the detailed description of the load order, the order can be important and this is useful information! The Color Filter Removal mod is Awesome and the game is much more beautiful with it! And that's how Starfield looks AWESOME! As I saw about two million people use it now on Xbox, so it is a must Mod for Starfield. Again, thanx man for the detailed description!

hello, can anyone help? i was downloading the depots, and i waited, and left my pc running for a day, and came back, only 5 of them copleted. anyone know why? it aint my connection, its still stable, so i dont know why it aint completing.

@circuitscore I'm starting a new character that is a UC Vanguard and was wondering what is the best UC Vanguard ship all around to get my hands on? I'm looking for a ship that is strong, fast, maneuvers quite well, has great weapons and is a great ship to have when starting out. That only gets better when going from class A all the way up to the top class.

Great guide. Just one question. It says in the menu that online services are disabled. Does that matter for any reason?
It wont matter unless you want to download additional creations. However with Nexus mods you will be able to find all of those creation and more so I don't think it will hinder your experience.

Can anybody help? After manually coping the files to the 1.6.1130 version and using the best of both worlds patch, my game would crash right after the Bethesda title appears, which apparently means I'm missing masters, but vortex doesn't tell me there's a problem and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
I have not personally tried this method however it sounds like the game is looking for ESM files that are not present. Try using the Anniversary Edition Content Picker as well as Backported Extended ESL Support. The Anniversary Content Picker will allow you to consolidate the added files from the Anniversary edition and you can decide if you want them turned on or off.

I have succesfully downgraded, but I cant get my MCM to work even after reinstalling it with the correct version of the mod, any ideas?
Only thing I can think of is maybe try to reinstall the F4SE. Are you using the one for 1.10.163 that I posted in the description?

Has anyone else been having issues with the game audio cutting out when u quit the game and reload with mods Active
I have not but I believe that is why Bethesda stopped new mods from modifying the ini file because people were losing audio.
You have to disable your mods restart your game and re enable them you should get audio but for me it was a temporary solution so I had to disable my mods clear my reserved space then re enable but don't delete your reserved space unless you want all your playthroughs to be gone you'll still have your mods at least I did but it did fix it for me

You know I'm not sure. I've never made a mod before. I cant imagine its terrible hard to do. I would assume there is a function to publish them in the creation kit software.

You will have to redownload the game from the steam store. If you modified the manifest file shown in the video make sure to uncheck read only before downloading from the steam store.

I did this and got it to the old version and have the correct F4SE and it launches now but shows loading screen for 3 seconds then still crashes to desktop! Idk what to do.
Of course nobody has made any mod load order videos for us Xbox users, who are new to modding.
Basically anything at the bottom loads after what’s above so mods you don’t want to get overwritten by other mods you put bellow. Unless a mod tells you to put a mod at the top or bottom, tour probably good but if you have mods you think will conflict with each other, put the one you want to prioritize below it

It’s pretty much like modding Skyrim special edition on XB. There’s a hundredthousand Skyrim load order videos. Look up logical load order. That’s what I’ve used and haven’t crashed one time. I’m on series x

The ATST mod froze up my game, it could be the mod or a load order issue.
Ive used it in multiple different load orders so far no issues here.
I was under the impression that the earth restored mod caused issues on Xbox. Is that not the case anymore? I’m already using the color filter and sense vegetation mod and they’re both great. I’d also recommend the concept art akila city mod, it makes akila snowy like the concept art and looks really nice.
I have had some crashes using the Earth Restored mod when I travel there so there may be some bugs they are still working though. Works for the most part though. I am going to check out that akila city mod for sure. Thanks!

Perfect video and explained very well! I downloaded everything following your video, used the F4SE you linked and deleted the cc files, but when I launch the game it freezes at the "press any key" screen as soon as I press any key. I've had no success trying to fix it... The next gen update works of course but wheres the fun in that? Any ideas what to try next?
Hmm should have worked. Did you launch the game from the script extender exe? Not from the fallout exe.
@@circuitscore I did, I ended up digging through my backups to find a pre-nextgen copy and was able to clean out the mods from there so I had a clean copy of pre-next gen. Really not sure why your method didn't work 100% but I still appreciate your guide!

Are there any other methods aside from using the steam depot console? I have let it sit over 5 hours yesterday with no progress. I have pretty bad/slow internet all things considered, so I highly prefer a progress bar or anything that tells me where it is at or if the download has failed. Thanks! ^^
Hey there. Unfortunately if you are on the latest version 1.6.1170 the only method I know of is to use the depot downgrade. It will take awhile because its essentially re downloading the entire game. If you are on version 1.6.1130 there are downgrade patchers available on Nexus that modify the files in order to downgrade. I believe this method requires less internet however I have not tried it myself so not 100% confirmed. I made the mistake of downloading every single line in the description and wondered why the script extender didn't work. I had to re-download the first list, like an idiot. lol It wouldn't have been that big a deal if I had simply copied the files instead of moving them and deleting the empty folders like the clean nut I am.
Oh yeah sorry I had a lot of request for different files that I have added to the description. Trying to keep it as clean as possible haha. Glad you got it working though!

Hi there. Glad it worked. Also I did an extensive search and found additional instructions to download the language pack. I added it to the description and will add it here as well. I have not tried this method yet so would be worth backing up your skyrim installation. Additional Instructions: If you are looking to change the default game language, and you have not modified your 'Skyrim_Default.ini' file, it is as simple as right-clicking the Skyrim game in your Steam games list, selecting 'Properties…', and changing the 'Language' dropdown in the 'General' tab to the language of your choice. This will automatically download the language pack and .ini file which instructs the game to use it, and you are done. NOTE: 'appmanifest_489830.acf' file must not be set to read-only (which is typically done during a "downgrade" process as well as shown in this video). You will have to first unlock this file before selecting a language. You will want to re-lock it by setting it to read-only again after download. This process will not perform a full verification of file integrity (so it will not break the downgraded Skyrim install), it will simply download the language pack and .ini file.

Make sure to download the Script extender from the link in the description of the video. For some reason the author archived this download for version 1.10.163
@@circuitscore I forgot to say I figured out my problem, it was a mod called 'reduced load times' or something very similar. Disabled it now works properly

Sad these mod authors wont support last gen mods... It's BS. >_> Especially not being able to find the old unofficial patch for version 1.10.163. Agreed. Honestly I'm sure a lot of them don't even play Fallout 4 anymore and are on to new games such as Cyberpunk. What really doesn't make sense is mod authors intentionally hiding those patch files. Luckily for us Nexus archives all files and I have direct links in the description for the 1.10.163 patch. Thank you for bringing that to my attention though. Ill look into the HD Textures and Creation Kit depot. Maybe Bethesda removed them from the steam server.
