That's what I'm talking about. I remember when I got my Claymore III. That was a good day.

mounting (4) Nullifier 1750 EM weapons is the best way to go. Although these are class A, they have the fastest rate of fire and do the least hull damage. Those two class C EM weapons that you chose are indeed top tier, but they still aren’t as functional and fast at disabling ship systems (i.e. engines, grav drives, and weapons - Not shields of course) as the Nullifier 1750s are!

Yeah I just did the math and you are correct 4 of them with twice the EM damage is much faster DPS than 2 Tastsu. Good call!

Red Mile ship tech on Porrima III has a good weapon selection. You can also add shielded cargo there. Plus, he's more entertaining to talk to.

Most of my 400hrs was ship combat, docking, stealing and selling ships. Made 100s millions and made all my favourite ships, unfortunately Starfield doesn't have much else to offer

Yeah that upcoming DLC needs to be pretty expansive if that want this game to last as long as some of their other IPs.

The best place to find enemy ships to do battle with , is the key . That's where the Crimson fleet headquarters are . I've heard so many people say that the best place to go is Serpentis . But the maximum number of ships I've ever found there is about 6 . And you can get over a dozen in one spot at the key .

That's a good point. If you are not already a part of the crimson fleet that's a gold mine for some high quality ships. I'll have to check that out thanks!

Free pro tip/exploit. Varuun Revelations the first room you walk into is the armory, loot the room then board your own ship, go back to the Rev and loot the armory again rince and repeat for infinite weapons and armor. Feel free to make a vid.

I have a pretty darn good vessel that was a ship build from another vid, unless overwhelmed in numbers and I am not paying attention, no other vessels can match it. That being said, I like this vid but almost everything now is about taking ships in combat not on the ground. On a better note though, unlike my comments in your previous vid, the vessels I do find on the ground now are open and I can take them. In the past they were locked tight. Thanks again and I'll keep watching out for your newest!

Yeah its all about taking ships in space now after the latest update. Good to hear you can at least board the ships on the ground now. I know that was a problem for a lot of people in the past. Hopefully they at least fixed that bug even though they broke other aspects of this game.

I just found out at the start of the game you are sent to Kreet. Instead of landing at the location your supposed to go to, land on the frozen lake instead. You will come across a location where there is a camp with a small domed building. A ship will land and group of 4 spacers will start to attack a npc woman in the camp. Once you kill them the woman from the camp will ask for water. I didn't get her full name because I was heading to the empty ship, but it was captain something. You then can jump on the ship and take it so you have a way better ship than the frontier.

That is an awesome idea. Also great tip for a new game! This right here is what makes Bethesda games so great is that freedom to avert the main story and make your own path.

Why not use the Nullifier 1750 Suppressor ? 3 power (so 4 vs 2), 48 em dmg each but fires much faster. Dps way higher.

That's a good point. The EM damage is still lower even with 4 of them however with nearly twice the fire rate the DPS would actually be much higher. I like it!

Tatsu’s are available at Red Mile also. Ship stealing is not dead with a decently equipped ship. The problem for me is starting New Game Plus. You have nothing except the Guardian ship which for me sucks in space combat. Going to a planet was a good way of getting a decent ship and also getting credits to upgrade the ship you stole.

Oh awesome! Yeah I just went to Akila because it was close. 100 percent agreed though. I discussed this in my last video and I really hope Bethesda comes to their senses and reimplements what they have broken.

NG+ I get the Jake's big bang behind the bar in the Well and Radburn from You Ceti (vids exist) then buy a few ammo and head for the mantis @ denebola. Put 2 suppressors and 6 vanguard oblits and your set for any level 40 and below area. It is hard starting a ng+ sometimes so I hope this helps someone.

Lol. If Starfield had an online, everyone's main ship would be an Ecliptic Claymore.

I'd go with hyena 3 modified or sysdef chimera 3. But only because I find these a lot more often. The 40 reactor in hyena is very attractive but the grav drive is bottom end. Chimera is a good mix, but low storage. Galbank secure transport isn't bad either

You can still steal landed ships on planets. I got in one last night and could have made it my home ship but it was a basic little thing so chose not to. Im just a rookie so maybe im missing the point somehow.

Yeah you still can but the mechanic is completely borked right now. Like you could be walking on a planet and the ship will just appear out of thin air. The prior update ships would land on planets as soon as you exited your ship which they probably needed to dial back anyways but I honestly preferred it since I had a better chance of getting a cool ship. Now the best foolproof way is in space. Which is still fun to do.

The rag dolls in this game are absolutely beautiful but my favorite thing that happened to me was an Ecliptic was glitched behind a locked door and his foot stuck out of course I shot it and then they claimed “I can’t see” lol.

On xbox now if you make the new ship your homeship while still connected to the old one menu crashes lol. And also if you do it while undocked looking at the old ship, it just vanishes as soon as you leave the menu....so guess ship farming dead for console then.

Whoa I will have to test this out on my XSX. That is not good if that's the case. I am happy to report that ships are landing on plants now when exiting your ship after the may update so maybe that is the way to go until they fix it. However I hope it doesn't crash for those landed ships either!

Ships are sort of landing on some planets again, but it's hardly working and very weird and frustrating. I got Hyena 3 and a claymore 3 on Bohr last night. But space is still the best way.

Are you seeing them actually land? Or are they just appearing out of nowhere? I still have yet to see one actually land after the update. Quite frustrating.

@@circuitscore I have seen a couple land, but 98% just magically appear when I'm almost fully there. I usually hop on my ship and get out my sniper rifle and look around with the scope and if I do see one landing site, it's not usually even marked, usually it doesn't show a ship, but poof it's there when I get there. I think they're trying to fix it, and this little patch helped, but it still has a way to go. I think they're playing, lets see what happens if we try this.

@@nywolf9798 Gotcha yeah thats what Im finding as well. The fact that ships just magically appear out of nowhere is proof this change was not intentional and rather something they broke. Lets hope they fix it soon!

@@nywolf9798 Make a note of any locations/landing areas where you find a ship, go to Venus and wait six hours, go back to the landing area and quicksave when you exit ship. You should now get a sonic boom and a ship will land again. At this point you can save scum the landing area. It seems for this to work you have to 'discover' landing areas and then go back to them.

@@dkindig ships have totally stopped for me as of yesterday, I can even find them where I was finding them, the few ship landing places I've found have been empty.

They need a make it so that you can just claim the ship instead of making it your home ship. You kill everyone, claim ship, and just leave. Every time i make home ship my ship undocks and leaves and i have to redock and make home ship again. Tedious.

That would be so much nicer. Or when you sit in the pilot seat just automatically add it to your inventory. They also need to increase the number of ships we can keep.

Well the best way is to load it with all the weapons and armor from the baddies. Make it your home ship and all the cargo just adds to your creds in the end. Currently there is 1,689 erdabrou cans in my hold. ...

Is there a bug on Xbox that stops you from targeting ships engines in combat or am I just stupid because I can’t get it to work & therefore can’t board a ship to steal it.

I've not encountered a bug. Although when I targeting mode, I do keep trying to use the D pad to target the system. I keep having to remind myself to use the left stick. It feels unintuitive because the targeting system looks so similar to the power distribution.

What level is your targeting? Level 1 doesnt last very long.

I didnt realize they changed the ships landing on moons.... that's annoying... I've been moon hopping like mad (1st playthrough) looking for ships to land and steal these past few days.

It is so annoying and immersion breaking. They essentially moved the POIs closer because of players complaining about land travel which accidentally broke ships landing on moons and planets. Hopefully they fix what they have broken!

Ill be looking forward to how to sell unregistered ships. Thw rb and a on game controller doesnt work anymore. Thks

​@circuitscore Just watched your vid on selling them. Question. How do you know which ship is the best to take over. ? I go to those system to collect ships but don't know which ones are the most value to take down and which ones to try and capture. Thks.

@@tonylanders1196 For me it was just trial and error. Ive stolen about every ship there is and then check the value. There are websites you can look up ship values however without looking any of that information up you can see if its a Mark I Mark II or Mark III. Which will give you an idea of its value.

I haven't been able to figure out how to claim the ship but still be able to go back to my original ship

Once you have completely cleared the ship and I mean everything all hostiles turrets etc. Then sit in the pilot seat go to you ship menu to look at the ship and make it your home ship. Now you can reboard the ship you showed up in. Once on board go you your ship menu and set the ship you showed up in as your home ship. Now the unregistered ship you stole is in your inventory.

@@circuitscore See I didn't now this until today, tried it on a Spacer Racoon succesfully (the whole while docked make home ship and swap back). Then I went and did it with at Var'uun Prochecy II and it instantly undocked my own ship. Not sure why. Tested on the same day (no patch changes) on PC. *Edit* I found out that if you get undocked, you can quick turn the ship and try and catch your own ship again. Funny how that works. It was nicer when it remained docked.

I purposely stop progressing through the main story line as soon as my character is able to efficiently board & steal ships to create my own masterpieces. This chosen limited gameplay is enough to hold me over until community mods start pouring in.

Yeah I'm still on the main quest with Sarah. She cant leave my party until I finish it as much as she might want to 😂

been working good on xbox for me...since newyears eve my landing ships were f%$k'd...now they lbeen landing for 2 weeks all types of enemies...except i haven't seen the bounty hunters that used to persue me all the time.

No landings since the last update for me either. But right now I walked up to a landing site on a serpentis moon and a profecy just appeared on my head so I got launched a mile away into a mountain.

@@corrosiongod Yeah so this game is completely glitched right now. If you run in the opposite direction from a POI turning your head back in forth eventually a ship will appear our of thin air haha.
