    Abhishek, thank you. This is the best honest review i have looked so far. So you said you haven't done off-roading on Scrambler 400x by the time these comparisons were released. What about now ? And i am a subscriber now.

  • @AbhishekDaniel

    Thank you. I took the Scrambler 400x on the dirt track few days back. Switched off the tractional control and it's an absolute beast. Super fun to twist the throttle and slide around. Rear suspension bottoms out on hard jumps so I might increase the preload on that. Otherwise it's a blast.

  • @karuns3211

    @AbhishekDaniel thank you for replying. I can't understand the 'I might increase on the preload' ? Sorry 😅

  • @AbhishekDaniel
    @AbhishekDaniel2 сағат бұрын

    @@karuns3211 suspension will become stiffer if you go up on the preload. I’m expecting that will help in it not bottoming out. It worked for my Himalayan and it should work for Scrambler too. You can adjust it by measuring the free sag and loaded sag. There are tutorials on KZread on how to do it. I’ll make a video about it soon.

    I own a 2021 KTM 390 Adventure and a 2017 Royal Enfield Bullet 500, both based in Bangalore. I've explored Ladakh on both bikes, Nepal's Lower Mustang on the Bullet, and the Rann of Kutchh on the Adventure. While I enjoy both, the 390 excels at long-distance, high-speed riding and handles rough terrain confidently. The Bullet is perfect for leisurely rides on winding roads. I test-rode the Himalayan 450 and Scrambler 400X, and the Scrambler immediately stood out because of the way it handles, it feels light, nimble and very easy to ride. However, after couple of months later again test ride on Scrambler while returning from a short ride on my adv. I realized the 390's power, braking, and wind protection were invaluable. Despite this, the Scrambler still appeals as a potential third bike. My latest test ride, the Shotgun 650, was incredibly impressive with its power, torque, weight, and braking. I’m now leaning towards the Shotgun as my third motorcycle🤞

    @@AbhishekDaniel Tq for responding to my comment. I am looking for 400 to 500cc bike which helps me for city commute and long distance travelling like monthly once. As you know in this cc range there are multiple models after getting knowing about each models and their own uniqueness and advantage. I like triumph scrambler too. But Help me to take a decision which one I can purchase which meets my req like comfortness while riding, good reliability and good resale value too.

    @@manoharkanduri2235 there are a lot of motorcycles that can fit your use case scenario of city commute and occasional long rides. Anything from a sports tourer, naked street or adventure bikes can do that job. I’m more into adventure bikes as I’m into off road riding as well and so I’m familiar with the existing models of them. I have very little knowledge about bikes in the other categories. I’d again suggest you to short list and test ride the bikes. If you are asking about the Scrambler 400x, it’s a good bike and I’m happy with it as it fits my liking and use case scenario as well. Resale value and reliability of these new bikes cannot be commented on now.
