  I am not a fan of Journey! But I noticed right away, comparing it with the original studio recording. That Arnel's voice is higher, more powerful and cleaner. This does not mean that Steve's is weaker. Steve has a slight hoarseness, which also sounds very cool.

  yes it sucks the band split with Steve but come on Arnel Pineda sounds absolutely amazing and kept the band going for years to come and instead of them finding someone different that sounds a lot different they did the impossible and got someone that sounds as close as they could to steven to keep the iconic music in tact.
