I've read a lot of comments on here were Catholics are stating they will cling to their belief that their pet will go to heaven because the teaching that animals dont have eternal souls isn't a dogma. There is no teaching from any saint or apostle nor an apparition that states the opposite of the accepted teaching of the church that animals are completely mortal and do not live on into eternity. As christians we are not to reject truth, dogma or not. Just because you dont like an accepted teaching doesnt mean you are free to reject it. At one time the marian dogmas were accepted teachings, which all the protestants rejected.

I think we know deep down that animals cease to exist when they die. I've never seen an animal lover not completely forget their pet the second they get a new kitten or puppy. Not I've never seen a mother or father forget about a dead child, or son or daughter replace a dead parent. Humans are special animals are not.

The "queen of heaven" mentioned by Prophet Jeremiah' has nothing to do with Mary. It was a reference to a pagan goddess that was being worshipped in the old testament. It was definitely NOT a reference to Mary, the mother of Jesus (she wasn't even born during the time of prophet Jeremiah). One more thing. Just because a certain false god in the old testament was given the title "queen of heaven" by its worshippers doesn't make the title "queen of heaven" an intrinsically evil or diabolical expression that should be completely avoided by everyone. For instance, the Israelites made a golden calf as a god and gave it the title "the gods who brought you out of Egypt" (Exodus 32:4). Interestingly, this is the SAME title that was used to describe God several times (Exodus 20:2; Deuteronomy 5:6). Does such similarity in title mean that the Almighty God is connected or assiciated in any way with that false god constructed by the Israelites? No, it doesn't So, referring to Mary as "Queen of heaven" doesn't mean that she is in any way associated with or similar to that false god in the old testament called "queen of heaven"

And it does NOT matter if such titles aren't explicitly mentioned in the bible because even the Bible itself doesn't say that we are forbidden from honouring her with a title that is not explicitly mentioned in the bible You see, in any official title that is given to Mary, what matters is the following (a) that such a title can be explained based on actual qualities she possessed or on events that happened in her life (b) that such a title shouldn't be one that exclusively belongs to God/Jesus Christ or that belongs to Him alone Regarding such titles given to Mary, the following DO NOT matter (a) whether or not such titles can be found explicitly written somewhere in the Bible. There is no command or instruction from God restricting us from giving Mary any title that isn't written in the Bible (if there is such a command, let me know) (b) whether or not such titles bears any similarities with titles given to pagan gods. Such a similarity could be mere coincidence, and doesn't necessarily prove that such titles are intrinsically evil. The reason why the church honours Mary with the title "Gate of Heaven" is simply in reference to the fact that it was through her (her body ) that the Son of God came from heaven to earth to live among men (When a person passes through a GATE, such a person moves from one location to another location. That is the function of a GATE). Such a title was never intended to come into conflict with the words of Jesus when He said: "I am the GATE of the sheepfold" because obviously the context in which we refer to Mary as "Gate" is different from the context in which Jesus referred to Himself as "Gate". So there is no conflict here. Finally, Mary deserves the title of "Queen" because she is the MOTHER of the one who holds the title of "King of Israel", and that is Jesus Christ (John 1:49). This has been the nature of the position of "King of Israel" right from the time when God instituted the kingdom of Israel

St John makes a clear reference to Genesis 3:15 in Revelation 12. There is a Woman, the male-child, and the ancient serpent, the Devil. The Woman is crowned with 12 stars (representing royal authority over the tribes of Israel), clothed with the sun (glory), with the moon at her feet (dominion over all temporal things). That description is far more than a mere "seed-carrier." V. 17 identifies the Woman as the Mother of "those who keep the commandments of God and hold the testimony of Jesus Christ." In St John's Gospel, as Jesus hangs from the Cross, He says "Woman, behold your son." Then turning to the Beloved Disciple He says, "Behold your Mother." The Woman is unquestionably Mary. The only way to avoid that conclusion is if your tradition refuses to recognize Mary. In which case, you are not a Beloved Disciple of Jesus Christ.

Logic?? If it is Mary who is the enemy of Satan and not Christ as you claim, are Satan and Christ friends/acquaintances? The RCC says that the pope is Jesus Christ on earth, more than that, one of his titles is 'Lord God the Pope'. Yet Mary is the enemy of Christ? The worship of Mary is nothing more than the old worship of Diana of the Ephesians, Diana renamed. And therefore Semiramis renamed. Who for you is the woman of Genesis 3:15? Is it Eve? No. Eve cannot be. First of all, Eve sinned and so she cannot oppose Satan with her tainted nature. Secondly, her offspring were already born in her life time and were as tainted as she was with sin. So where do we look for the woman and her seed or offspring? Only Mary and Jesus are the inevitable choices.

Worship does not now require a blood sacrifice, since Christ was the fulfilment of the sacrificial law. Nowhere in the new testament are we required to worship with blood. Nowhere. However, in the Catholic mass, Christ is crucified again and again and again, through the doctrine of transubstantiaton. The RCC claims that a priest, a creation like every other human, has the power to bring Christ down out of heaven and crucify him again. Let Mary rest peacefully in her grave. Christ will restore her perfectly at the resurrection.

The original church was called the Way. Its structure and services do not emulate the Catholic Mass or honestly really any current church denomination. The Catholic Church changed a lot of things between 33AD and 1000AD. My point is this. Christianity started changing their way early on from the Original Church. To say any faith has more claim to being Christ’s Church is ludicrous and almost reminds me of James and John trying to get a special place ahead of the others. My suggestion is simple. Preach the word. Quit trying to elevate your denomination over the Bible. There are lost souls, use your videos to reach them, not the saved.

I've read a lot of comments on here were Catholics are stating they will cling to their belief that their pet will go to heaven because the teaching that animals dont have eternal souls isn't a dogma. There is no teaching from any saint or apostle nor an apparition that states the opposite of the accepted teaching of the church that animals are completely mortal and do not live on into eternity. As christians we are not to reject truth, dogma or not. Just because you dont like an accepted teaching doesnt mean you are free to reject it. At one time the marian dogmas were accepted teachings, which all the protestants rejected.
I think we know deep down that animals cease to exist when they die. I've never seen an animal lover not completely forget their pet the second they get a new kitten or puppy. Not I've never seen a mother or father forget about a dead child, or son or daughter replace a dead parent. Humans are special animals are not.

The "queen of heaven" mentioned by Prophet Jeremiah' has nothing to do with Mary. It was a reference to a pagan goddess that was being worshipped in the old testament. It was definitely NOT a reference to Mary, the mother of Jesus (she wasn't even born during the time of prophet Jeremiah). One more thing. Just because a certain false god in the old testament was given the title "queen of heaven" by its worshippers doesn't make the title "queen of heaven" an intrinsically evil or diabolical expression that should be completely avoided by everyone. For instance, the Israelites made a golden calf as a god and gave it the title "the gods who brought you out of Egypt" (Exodus 32:4). Interestingly, this is the SAME title that was used to describe God several times (Exodus 20:2; Deuteronomy 5:6). Does such similarity in title mean that the Almighty God is connected or assiciated in any way with that false god constructed by the Israelites? No, it doesn't So, referring to Mary as "Queen of heaven" doesn't mean that she is in any way associated with or similar to that false god in the old testament called "queen of heaven"

Who for you is the woman of Genesis 3:15? Is it Eve? No. Eve cannot be. First of all, Eve sinned and so she cannot oppose Satan with her tainted nature. Worship does not now require a blood sacrifice, since Christ was the fulfilment of the sacrificial law. Nowhere in the new testament are we required to worship with blood. Nowhere. The RCC claims that a priest, a creation like every other human, has the power to bring Christ down out of heaven and crucify him again. Let Mary rest peacefully in her grave. The original church was called the Way. Its structure and services do not emulate the Catholic Mass or honestly really any current church denomination. The Catholic Church changed a lot of things between 33AD and 1000AD. My point is this. Christianity started changing their way early on from the Original Church. To say any faith has more claim to being Christ’s Church is ludicrous and almost reminds me of James and John trying to get a special place ahead of the others. My suggestion is simple.
