    @diehl_with_itАй бұрын

    Oh thanks, I didn't know that battle. That makes it kinda worse though, because Mirsa did that pattern against rythmind even faster while still being in time with his rap. Bizkit just messed that one up. If you listen to both one after another, you can really tell how much more tight mirsa's timing is.

    @@diehl_with_it I always wish, watching a reaction that the reacting person would add smt to the video accept (Faces and blablabla) try to get into the topic a little more ask yourself questions for us, knowing more about the topic, to answer. Analyse the rounds in certain points you focus on the most watching videos like that hows the beat build etc.. with a Video like this it just feels like we watch you watching the video if you were alone by yourself. @@bypandalf4817 Thank you, that's a critique I can work with! And I totally understand your points, because that's what I want to see in react videos as well. However, when you look at the biggest reaction channels in the million subscribe range, you can tell that we're a minority amongst viewers, because most people just want to see crazy OMG reactions without any big pauses, talking etc. Take chezame for example. He's making millions of views with shorts, where he's faking his reactions and doesn't say a single word. But since I don't want to do that fake shit, I will definitely try and add a little more to the viewing experience. It's honestly harder than it might look, to watch something and pay attention while thinking about what you could say about it in a language that isn't your native one 😆 And just to make that clear, I'm not earning any money with this channel, because it's way too small for that. Right now, I'm just doing it for fun.

    When people talk about how quickly Dilip transitions in and out of beats and themes, i always like to explain that i dont think of his style as a "track". It feels more like a raw and authentic freestyle as opposed to a pre-rehearsed set (though I'm sure it's rehearsed just as much). I like the audio aesthetic and atmosphere it makes. Like going to a live concert where a guitarist has a solo, then the drummer has a solo, then the pianist/keyboard player, etc. it just FEELS more raw and authentic... I like it. Even though it's not necessarily "a song", I'd still listen to it, as is, for what it is. What is it? His phat flavors

  • @diehl_with_it

    Totally understand your point! It's also probably not a bad thing from a battling perspective. For me personally, having a great beat, that makes the crowd move and changing that again as quick as he sometimes does, feels like wasted potential. But that's more from a musicality kind of view.

  • @zaclaplant3001
    @zaclaplant30012 ай бұрын

    @@diehl_with_it Unfortunately, it is bad from a battling perspective based on SBX's score cards. Structure is why he didn't make the cut in the GBB '19 (maybe '20? It's been a few years) Wildcards when everyone was rooting for him. Him not making the cut that year DID spark enough controversy that SBX has updated their scoring criteria specially because of the controversy they had judging Dilip, but it doesn't completely balance. The judges' individual interpretations of the atmosphere has to be "the intent is to have an authentic sounding, raw performance", thus making it a clear "theme". If their interpretation isn't exactly that, it's usually marked down. Even still, the judges that are fans of his style (like DLow), don't exactly view it that way (though their subjective interpretation is skewed by it). To sum, officially judging Dilip is skewed to be more subjective than the other beatboxers where others have a definitive x% marks for subjective analysis and y% marks for objective analysis. This skew towards subjectiveness can work against him, especially from more "traditional" beatbox judges

    Has no one introduced you to ‘show go’ yet? If your preference is beatboxing with a focus on musical arrangement then he is exactly what you are looking for. He has an entire playlist of original beatboxing musical tracks, about 42 in total. The guy is incredibly talented and I’m more than sure you would enjoy his work. Future traveler and shine bright are two of my favourite on his list.

    Ich glaube - nicht böse gemeint - das du die Snare einfach ein bisschen verpasst hast. Er hat die Snare mit der Kick zusammen recorded und glaube ich über die Clap gelegt damit es cleaner klingt. Ich denke daher hört man die Snare als einzelnen Sound nicht raus. English: I think - saying it politely - that you missed the snare. He recorder the snare together with the Kick and layered it over the clap so it sounds cleaner I think. Might be the reason why you can't hear the snare itself. Correct me if I am wrong ;)

    Du hast schon recht damit, wie er das gemacht hat. Das war mir aber auch bewusst. Deswegen bin ich bei 5:36 nochmal zurückgegangen zu dem Punkt, wo er erst nur die Clap recorded, um zu schauen, ob ich danach, wenn die Snare dazu kommt, einen Unterschied höre. Und den höre ich ehrlich gesagt auch jetzt immer noch nicht bei erneutem hinhören :D

    Is schon echt krass wie weit T gekommen ist. Und vor allem wie schnell, soweit ich weiß hat er vor ein paar Jahren angefangen, and got addicted, laut eigenen Aussagen. Das er praktisch in jeder freien Minute geübt hat, zahlt sich so krass aus. So nice zu sehen das er jetzt auch was ganze Videos von seinem Beatboxen hochlädt, war bisher eigentlich immer mal zwischendrin auf Insta oder im Stream vertreten. Sein Bass ist einfach jetzt schon legendär in der scene.

    That last sound you heard I'm pretty sure was 3 sounds, which is why he said "FUSION" before the drop, he fused lip bass, a shhhhh whistle ( me personally I get the sound sometimes by accidentally saying SH words WISH FISH BITCH, dont matter i still get the sound and understand it) And Poly voice, some ppl I notice calling it a double voice, which btw guys don't make no sense, Poly is a crack in the voice creating a chord. Which is 3 or more notes, and double 'voice' = two, so nope not gonna work. Double voice is when you isolate a yoddle, to create two transitioning notes that sounds like they are staccato in a way. the note hops from one to another not transitions. Bro I wish I could write the terms and conditions of beatbox sorry y'all.

  • @diehl_with_it
    @diehl_with_it5 ай бұрын

    Good explanation of his sound. I have to correct you though. A chord can consist of only 2 notes and still be called a chord. Though the exact definition is a little subjective it seems. And the classic polyphonic voice only consists of 2 notes as well. But I still agree that it should be called polyphonic voice and double voice being the voice crack thing.
