  I think this new Leon bey being a defense type might be a reference to Leone from Metal Fight as the Leone avatar was also a gold lion, and the bey was a defense type. I think they're trying to bring back the whole defense is the best offense gimmick that Leone had where maybe the blade is has more attack power than the typical defense type blades. King might be taking after his Grandma Queen with this new bey.

  For my ONLY opinion, I do not agree adding bearing nor Atomic since there's a lot of Beyblade x Blades that are heavy and mixing these Parts in a future competitive play might making the meta so unfair unlike Burst tournaments, There's alot of bladers that still use Bearing parts since the Type Meta is unfair.

  Indeed, Black Shell is truly a good-looking bey. It's bit is inspired in Jog Ball performance tip from Metal saga, which means a temporary aggressive movement at first and then it calms down after a few seconds. Plus, Kamen Z as the owner of Black Shell is an interesting idea, but still, he appears prior to Kamen Y's actions in the manga and anime.

  Though I never had Spriggan Requiem, at least I have its driver, Zeta, which I used some times with the World Spriggan that I have. But in case that I could obtain Spriggan Requiem during my time as a blader, it could be a second in command along with the leader bey in my Burst team.

  I saw this before. From a spanish beytuber. This Leon Crest belongs to King Manju, which opens the possibility of Cho Pan and Toguro upgrading their beys into UX variants as well. I can detect some BigBang Genesis vibes here (BigBang Genesis came with 0 and Yard Metal when it was released in the toyline, while in the anime it kept the Hybrid driver, same with Dead Phoenix) but I'll wait until Leon Crest appears in the anime to confirm it, because I don't think that giving Leon Crest a defense-type bit is a good idea.
