Some long boards. No woodworking person, accepts perfect wood. Kick it in line, and screw it in. No problem.

As a professional, I'd say why tf would you put your blocks in that way? That's gonna be some shit drywall let me tell ya. A pro puts the blocks on edge in between the plywood so you can actually conform to the arch with your drywall.

Will it split eventually with time or is it pretty much a safe deal and warp itself to a straight line?

Aren't there supposed to be spacers between decking for drainage to stop water resting on the wood?

I'm a cheap DIYer. I looked at the pictures of the Bowrench and made one myself. I've built 2 decks with it. I need to paint it orange, though.

You should leave gaps between your boards so they can drain. These are all smashed up against each other. The deck is going to rot out prematurely. Use some shims to keep the spacing equal. 3/8” works good as it allows the board to swell when wet.

  • @uswwt

zero spacing between the deck boards? I hope your area never gets hotter than that day.

😂 mandatory equipment if you get lumber delivered picked by the yard Boys 😆 probably expensive just grab a ratchet strap from the truck an slip it thru the gap in the board behind it should have at least 1/4" gap between each so water doesn't sit on the surface 😅

I was thinking “that deck is going to explode during a rainstorm in six months” but I guess if most of the boards are straight it will be strong enough. Just be careful not to do this for something where the pressure could build and crack the board over time

Everyone here is complaining about their warped lumber.... Are we forgetting we are using dead plants as building material? It would be like if aliens used our skeletons to build something then complained we aren't straight.🤦🏻
