Ultimately its not worth it, better to buy for self use, if you achieve a great price. I've been Airbnb-ing in Gold Coast for 7 years to present, don't believe the hype

Hi Richie, I've been researching for a while now and to compare apples to apples, it seems like thailand is more expensive and much more preferred by majority of expats over Philippines. My impression is, Philippines is for moreso lower income retirees as they cannot afford Thailand, what do you think?

I'm pretty old now, 75 and no wife. But as a Christian if I ever get a little one I will have to lay ground work from the Lord and Bible stuff. Preach the good news of Jesus etc. Sooner or later kids will get access to any worldly thing online, so they have to be grounded. Praise the Lord and amen. Thanks, Thailand Paul

I love the beginning where you really took the leap of faith and went for your dream. I want to go live in Bali and am sitting on the edge of taking that leap. Being on my own it is scary. I don’t want to start a business, I’m financial enough to do it but scared of failing to fulfil my dream.

We are a 29 and 34 years old French-Thai couple with a 4 years old son, we are working as chefs here in South West coast of France and we are planning to move to Thailand ASAP and open our business restaurant. My question is: how much money do you recommend to come with to open a restaurant around Phuket (without talking about lifestyle on the side) ? Spectacular Video Richie. Your story is the template for what it takes to succeed no matter what the course of action and path one is on. I have a brother in Hawaii in a similar roll as you. Everyone said he would hit the wall of island life after 5 or 6 years, well it has been nearly 12 now and he has a good stable business going, some acreage of land with Dragon Fruit growing and dozens of clients in his vacation rental business. My daughter in Florida building her performance marketing firm with a few dozen high level clients and businesses. She too packed up, left New England and let go of a bad marriage and started over and now working with top level people and raising her kids to be independent and focused . Very glad to have met you and Maybelle back in 2022 at Paddy's victory party. I knew then you two would be people to watch and learn from. Keep going!
