Hi Richie, just a suggestion, could you promote your new business on another youtube channel? I enjoy this channel to follow your unique life and times in phuket and the coffee garden. I don't want to watch a video on rooms available in phuket. There's hundreds of similar youtube videos out there. I understand it's a new business and I wish you every success. But, please don't ruin this channel for those people who aren't interested in renting holiday appartments.

I can give you one reason, overpopulated tourist trap. Strictly for those who fell for the hype and have lots of money to waste....otherwise forget it and see the highlights on KZread without the hassle of actually having to go there yourself.

Yeah, it is difficult extending being a holiday millionaire for more than a few months, at some stage you either need to be a real millionaire or make money otherwise! But I hope he is doing good now, and can enjoy life without too much work. He have tried a few different things.

If u are married to a thai person and u have the marriage visa, getting a work permit is the cheapest and easiest to get for a basic job description in a business that u set up in your wife's name. Nothing wrong with that.

I've stayed at that Vista. It was really nice with great service and a wonderful stay. They had an arrangement with a scooter rental place and would drop off and pick up the bikes there. Made it very simple and convenient. Kata Hill is fantastic. But the best was how close I was to Maybelle's Coffee Garden for nice evening dinners. 😄😋

Just sitting here watching with my friend in Patong haha. Really great to see you three yesterday. Was hoping I’d catch you again, and so so great to meet little Maisy. Hope Maybelle loved the presents. Leaving for home tomorrow unfortunately, but back to explore Hua Hin end of July. Still trying to figure the best way for me to get over for a year or so to see if I could move permanently. I’ll keep holidaying for now. Good luck with Cocos x x

People are so clueless sometimes; you can't STOP progress! We don't have any say or control over a lot of things. In my 74+ years of existence, I have learned we can only make adjustments. Thank you for sharing this information, certainly beneficial for our future visit this coming October. Looking to stay in Phuket for 7 days and patronizing Maybelle's Coffee Garden. Traveling with a friend and need 2 separate beds; wife didn't want to come along on this visit. Personal family lives should be kept private. Agree with your decision Richie. Richie . Enjoyed your video. I have stayed at Aspasia on many occasions, initially when it was a hotel….and more lately when you can just rent an apartment. Yep it’s a great spot. Haven’t been back since Covid.

maybe 9 like me, then up at 5 and out walking for 6. Work begins at 7. You still get a solid 8 hours and miss nothing except drunken hooligans and noise.

Each job needs a work permit. If you have more than 1 job you need more than 1 work permit. But if you trust your accountant 😉

Patong is only for party 🎊 I would not stay there but it’s ok to visit . Plus it’s only a tiny part of the island. Go explore 🏝️ hi Richie great to see you making vids again 👍🏻

Loved Phuket lived there moved out too many Russians living there.I now live in beautiful Hua Hin quieter but ticks all the boxes for me.

I stayed up there at laem sai bungalows. I stayed there in the 80's at the time it was called bonghill. Just a bunch of freaks hanging out. No power, didn't even have the road you walked up back then. Had to come up from karon beach. There was just a trail going up there then.. The trail now goes though what is Marina Bungalow. First time was Jan/80

These off-season prices are a real bargain.

What about the Thais that your taking a job from, Richie I think thai law is pretty clear on property management and real estate, From what I know foreigners are prohibited from real estate jobs. You might want to watch INtegrity Legal Thailand he has a video all about this. I am sure Maybel is fine but she needs to be the face as well, not you on the videos. Don't want you to get in trouble mate

He has a Thai wife and daughter, so is he not entitled to contribute and put food on the table for them just because he's not born there? If Maybelle wasn't so intelligent and came from a rural area without education, should she and the child starve because he is not officially allowed to work? How ridiculous!

I remember a man who owned a bar in Phuket was drunk and actually took money for a payment he was arrested and he had to pay 10 000 to the police but he shouldn’t of taken money he was there years

A friends son has just been refused exit from Bangkok Airport, he lost his passport and was issued an emergency travel document from the British Embassy, he is 4 days overstay because of getting this document travelling to Bangkok from another area. Border control refused him and said he needed a stamp and to speak to police? The British Embassy said the document and 3000 baht shout have been enough, any help or information or has anyone else encountered this! He is only 17

Dude, the property is beautiful , and you are doing a great job promoting it, but for your own credibility you should be a little more ... real. It is NOT at a 8 minute walk from the beach unless you walk so fast as you were trying to lose someone following you, puffing and panting all the way up. How about saying it is a 15 mins walk on a very leisurely pace? Being honest does pay on the long run...

Funny how Thais want to complain how hard life is for them but they have millions of tourists coming there spending billions every year, so is their government so incompetent or the people so docile that they are unable to get a satisfactory life from all out of this? Assuming you are making money from KZread Yes, if you are staying and living in Thailand, then you need a visa. They have been talking about a digital nomad visa, but I don't think it exists yet, so otherwise you would need a work visa. If you are a travelblogger going to different countries and not staying in Thailand for long, I believe it is ok not to have work visa, but you better look that up if that applies.

Maybelle wants to show you a property she is renting out. She hasnt seen it yet ? So great advertising and no BS.

Local expats turn off very quickly from this cheap grab and the use of KZread for their gains. Other platforms are more suitable for this and I wish him all the best.
