    What big 3 means

  • @350iroc9
    @350iroc913 күн бұрын

    BIG 3 means - Intake , exhaust and a fuel management system upgrade. These 3 things alone will unlock your quads true potential as the factory intended. Because of EPA restrictions these quads are sent out in kitten mode but can be turned into a lion with the BIG 3!

  • @350iroc9
    @350iroc9Ай бұрын

    If you are heavy set then 450 all day is the best option. The Banshee in Glamis really has to work with a big fella piloting it. They will boil easily with aggressive sand paddles. The 450 is so much easier to ride in the dunes and gets twice the gas mileage. I've had zero issues in my 65 hours of operation with the 450. In fact the only reason I have it is because I burned up my Banshee's electrical system in Glamis because it got too hot. If you have never owned a Banshee before then just skip it honestly. They are way too expensive now. Spend your time riding and not working on it all the time is my recommendation. You won't be disappointed with a 450. I also think the 450 is a better quad than the Raptor if you were considering it.

    Hi there! I purchased mine from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. To start I decided to only purchase the fronts to make sure they fit. As you already know there is limited information/options on this subject. Don't bother contacting Elka as they don't produce anything for our year. The fronts I purchased are from the 2023 XXC 1000R parts list. They are called FOX 1.5 PODIUM RC2. The shock bodies are sold separately from the springs. In my case and because I wasn't sure I also purchased the springs to be safe. In hind sight I didn't need to as they are the same springs used on the stock FOX shocks as a FYI. Here is a link to the OEM parts finder: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-schematic/10 Drill down to Can-AM > ATV> 2023> ATV-North America-Renegade-Series> Renegade 1000R EFI - XXC - North America The Can-AM part number is 706203208 for the fronts and 706004492 for the rears.

    Hi there and thank you for the question. The ride park I was testing at is mainly sand so the tires would only spin. Honestly this was only the third ride for me on this machine. During the initial break in weekend it was raining and mud for miles so again limited traction. Right out of the gate I ordered the HMF exhaust system with the Power Vision 3 tuner. Both of these upgrades helped but I still needed more. The QSC REV-X primary clutch is a bit spendy at $1200 but quickly became the flagship upgrade. Now the power spools up like "right now"! My riding background is with sport quads and are my primary machines in select areas. The CVT 4x4 platform is new to me still. My reasoning/vision for purchasing this machine is to branch out and explore more riding areas that I wouldn't consider before. Sport Quads are no fun in heavy mud and water because you simply can't keep your goggles clean to see. If you can't see then spin the wheel of pain. Endless large rock trails will not only destroy a Sport Quad but will also knock the fillings out of your teeth. Already with the small amount of time I've had to enjoy the Renegade I've gone further longer than my other machines. This suggests that my plan is working but its like living in two very different worlds. 800lbs is not 400lbs and you know it on these. Lastly congratulations on your purchase! There's nothing like bringing home something new that you can get into and make it your own. Keep in touch because if you reside in the US I'm sure you've noticed the 650 Renegade is a bit of a Unicorn.

    I took a look at your channel and it appears your dirt bike rider! I also ran dirt bikes in my earlier days retiring on a 1989 CR250. So for you (i'm assuming here) it will be nice to have both 2 wheels and 4. Remember the snow doesn't matter anymore as these things plow through anything! I also wanted to mention that as your read the limited information, many people are worried about the lack of power steering. Not only would that add more weight it would add more $$. You simply don't need it and in my opinion will make you soft. This quad steers like any other if not easier due to the larger tire size and increased ground clearance. I can see its place on a XMR navigating the skag with giant tires but its a luxury. Your dirt bike doesn't have any storage so why would you need any now? You don't and is what backpacks are for. I think your really going to like the new couch on wheels lifestyle...

You can literally lock up the front tires on command with one finger yet are very precise as needed.

    I absolutely love my 450! Yesterday I was riding my buddies 2020 Raptor and I'm glad I went the 450 route. The only down side is the amount of money I needed to sink into it from stock. The stock exhaust sounds like a sewing machine. Once you upgrade the exhaust now you need some form of fuel programmer. Next the AIS emissions has to go and its up to you if you want an intake. After its all said and done its an absolutely amazing machine! You can drive it fast or you can drive it slow - it doesn't care. It has tons of power and is easy to drive yet is very good on gas consumption. I have a hour meter and after 3 years of ownership and 65 operating hours nothing has worn out. Yamaha's build quality is second to none and couldn't be happier with it. I hope that answers your question and thank you for watching!

    Well I think the Banshee is a good investment currently and feel that what ever you spend on it you should certainly get it back and then some. All of the other bikes like YFZ and Raptor will only depreciate since they are still in production. I just got back from another ride weekend and took the Banshee out again for the third time in a row. I normally alternate but honestly if its not a mud bath I really do prefer the Banshee over the YFZ. It's absolutely amazing to me the attention it brings these days. There was a point you couldn't give them away but now its become a favorite with the old and especially new kid riders. I think everyone is just board with bland looking and sounding 4x4's dressed in camo. The SXS people around here are properly named "dirt turtles" because our trail system only allows for the small ones <50" so no excitement there. For 5K I would hope you can find a Banshee with +2+1 A-Arms, shocks, adjustable width axle, pipes, reeds and properly jetted for your area. Can I ask what state you live in or where you plan to ride?
