We had heard that samsung appliances were the best so we purchased a stove and refrigerator 7 years ago. The pule handle on the freezer broke after 3 months. Had it repaired 3 times all not covered under warranty. The icemaker started having problems After 1 year. Repaired 3 times. We finally bought ice trays and gave up. Now the refrigerator will not cool and was quoted a price of approximately 1200. We are debating as this piece of crap will surely need something else. So sad for millions of consumers.
Is there an air filter in the Samsung twin cooling panel that should be changed? If not, where is the filter?

I rhought it was my imagination but pur new samsung smart fridge is getting worse and worse i have cleaned repeatedly even pure eater after Even vineger n water there is a chemical smell noone really pated attention but then it got real bad! It also defrosts in the freezer here amd there and then works! Also that smell goes in to our foods everything we touch we have to wash our hands after i am getting headaches feel sick losing my appetite etc! The refrigerant btw is 600a and the model n7mber isRF29BB86004MAA AND THE SERUAL NUMBER IS1HMH43AW700356X ALso getting fatigue massively amd getting weaker everyday i know its the fridge the chemical smell i 10 worse and i cant take it amymore we dont really eat from thefridge unless its completely sealed! Id rather go to the store 10 times a day than suffer the consequemces! This smell has always been there and b4 anyone says anything Ì have absolutely taken every songle piece of plastic out and shelves thouroughly cleaned it woth soap n water plain hot water and alsowater w vinegar ive even put baking soda in frid3ge 8 dont over pack it! Its emmaculately clean! I truly hope this doesnt harm 7s but i think it already has we are very worried we have had it about 4 mo ths and smell and our symptoms are only getting worse!

I have a Samsung RF28HFEDTSR fridge. I replaced a broken mulsion hinge and spring but am missing the mulsion guide that manually opens and closes the mulsion when the door is opened or closed. Know where I can get that top part of the mulsion that acts as a guide?
I cleaned the drain filter. It was clean but a lot of water came out of small hose. Smelled terrible. Ran a cycle and it still grinds and leaves a little water in tub

Excellent video. Although I have just the opposite issue with a samsung rf4287hars. The upper evaporator not cooling. The fan runs at the appropriate time. The top meat/freezer drawer works great and the bottom freezer works great. Ideas on what to test?

Have a 40yo GE side by side with ice maker/water dispenser and never had an issue. Grandparents samsung Model # RS25H5111WW constantly icing and not paying the cost of a new fridge to replace a single part. Warned them not to buy a fridge from a phone/electronics company that pushes new models every year to hide failures in design of the current model. Companies like LG, Samsung, and apple who prey on thier customers like this need to be permanently shut down. Now if Nokia made a fridge...
I've only had my Samsung fridge for 3 years. Its heating up on the outside and frost is forming in the freezer. I vacuumed the back panel and will take panel off and clean it when I find my screwdrivers. This should not happen to a 3 y/o fridge. I had an LG French door fridge for 15 years, never a problem, was still working when we sold our house. Will not buy another Samsung.

My conbi washing machine stop drain from main drain pipe every week Mine dose not drain water from mini drain but when I opened the filter box water rushing out a lot 😢 after this drain wetting entire floor mopping and mopping floor. After this its works nomaly. Called repair man twice and he said to me its nomal i said to him its not nomal i try to explain he didn't listen to me and left . I still have this problem what can I do ? Do I have to keep flood my laundry every week?
We pulled our 2nd Samsung in 7 years, out of it's place to remove some debris underneath and some dust. When we tried to put it back, the freezer quit working. We found we had locked the controls. However, the freezer still wouldn't work. As long as the freezer was below the set temp of the refrigerator, the frig stayed at its temp, but the freezer would not cool. Since this is our second Samsung in so few years, we bought a Whirlpool. Not sure they are any better, but we've have good look with them in the past. So long Samsung!!!

You can't do anything to fix stupid! Samsung refrigerators are the worst in the industry and your fix doesn't fix anything! Put a thermometer inside and you'll find out that the temp inside is above 40 degrees after this fix which is not safe for storing perishable items! Food-born illnesses will kill! Every Samsung refrigerator has one major fault... They are not sealed! Moisture gets in through small openings collects around the evaporator and condenses into ice, the same for the icemaker. Door seals suck, wiring and water line openings are not sealed well enough to maintain a closed system.

Yes they are trash. My samsung three door stainless (dec 2023) died in three months. No support from the brick or Samsung. Selling lemons they dont stand behind. Should be illigal.

I have a problem with my Samsung fridge door. And I have had problems with other Samsung products. I’ve got to say Samsung after sale service is the most poorest service I have ever come across in my life. I will never buy another Samsung product again.

You missed a huge downside to french doors, if you want a water/ice dispenser (which is important for me). fd fridges have a big, bulky ice maker in the fridge section. That is bad, more prone to failure. a sxs has a smaller, more efficient ice maker in the freezer compartment where it belongs. far more reliable. everything is easier to organize and more accessible in a sxs. and they are less expensive than comparable fd models. and yes, i use my freezer a lit more than twice a week!

what brand fridge do you fix the least?
I've not seen a freezer that fits what I want. The side by side has too little space, the bottom freezer isn't that great for people who can't bend to reach it and the normal top freezer it's the same bending but I do go into the freezer often so that one works best. Wished there was a french door similar to that.
Samsung rf18hfenbsr. Both evaporator fans not working. both verified to work on 12v. Replaced control board and evaporators are frosting over. Ever had the same issue?
I’m a refrigeration tech in Texas, Samsung side by side keeps freezing fresh compartments 3 x in a month call backs, no code errors , force DF all good , sensors tested all good , temp ctl shows right temp. Never below freezing, noise in damper top to evap… any suggestions??? Is driving me crazy
My LG washer/dryer works perfectly fine but I hear the noise in the filter when the water is running. I check the filter and It's clean. The washer drains and there is no error code. What can this be? Thanks

2 days ago, i got GE 19.1 cu. Ft (GTE19jtnrww). Only 1 temperature setting knob controls top & bottom. Problem is on recommended setting, bottom is at 43F & top is at 14F. Not acceptable.Why could that be. Is Frigidaire 17.6 cu. Ft (#FRFG1723AV) better overall (reliable refrigerant & well oriented main control board)?

Hello, great video! I have a Samsung model RS66A8101S9 Double door, no ice maker. The fridge works fine. The freezer is a disaster. Supposed to work at -23 degrees C. The actual temperature differs between -10 and +3 I had the temperature sensor replaced, the fan replaced and even the PCB replaced, but the problem is still the same. The fan doesn't seem te be starting at same times. The lower parts of the freezer are warmer than the upper part. Any idea what might cause this? I live in Sri Lanka and brought the Samsung with me in a sea container. No warranty, although it is less than 1 year old.

You don’t mention the quality of the components and build quality. I have a five year old LG french door refrigerator and the water/ice dispenser cracked many plastic parts and small screws and springs fell out. This means I can’t use the ice dispenser. I imagine the repair cost is more than the fridge is worth since it will mean dismantling the left door. I will never buy korean made appliances again as they are just not durable
So in 2024, what brand should we look for instead of Samsung? I doubt they've fixed these common issues.
