How do I believe their 'guarantee'?
In 2024, if you can take only one entry to expert level course/certificate/bootcamp which one would you suggest?

Career Foundry I just short of a scam if you are in the US don't enlist in their program it has grads still looking for work a year later
how can you say that?
I'll be at config too :)
Maybe see you there!
Despite the unpleasant news, I’m glad you had a nice break and enjoyed your birthday 🎉
💜
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Love a weekly vlog! Very cool ✨
Exactly what I was looking for. Cheers
Should sizes for cards, button, search bars and icon be sizes of 8 aswell?
This a.i. in the middle of the stream is wild
Great to have you as a mentor, Gemma!
This is awesome! Love these types of videos and the Mento shoutout. 🥹✨🙌
When i'm exporting the grids you've shown it is simply downloading a white background with no grids on it, please help. Are they not downloadable to use in other apps? I need to use them on powerpoint and there is no way in my knowledge to bring 4pt system to powerpoint :(
Hi, thanks for your comment and for downloading my file. Unfortunately, these grids are designed exclusively for Figma and are set up using Figma's grid tool. I recommend using Figma for any UX or UI design projects. This template is not intended for use outside of Figma.
I love seeing what you get up to during your day! Awesome vlog 🖤
Thank you :)
Love your videos!!!
Thanks for watching :)
Wao very easy and explained in a wonderful way❤
Brilliant stuff! I’m a dev so have been building from Figma designs for years, but am now working on my own website / games so feel it’s finally necessary for me to use it properly. Trying to iterate on ideas using actual code is getting tedious 😅
Thank you for this video! I will start this course and I you helped me a lot to be sure about it.
You're very welcome!
This is awesome; thank you!!
Glad you liked it!
Are you affiliated with Career Foundry or did you graduate from their program?
Affiliated with CF, However, this template is my own creation and not affiliated with CF.
so 1488 works ?
Thank you for your video. Could you tell us more? How did it actually happen to you? What was your first job as a UX designer, and how did you get it?
I’ll make a video :)
How does it work if you have already built the site in Figma. Will it transfer without using the webflow templates or do you have to convert them to the webflow templates?
Hey, thanks for your comment! From what I understand, transferring to the Webflow plugin templates should be easier, as they already have the naming criteria set up, making it easier for Webflow to understand the structure. Another approach could be (though I'm not entirely sure) to name your layers to match Webflow's variables, which might also work.
Thank you! This is such a time saver!!
Is the 7 Day free trial still available ?
Top content❤ Thank you💫
Thanks for this! I think I'm going to try it out. I'm a Graphic Designer and the pay difference between Graphic Design positions and UX / UI Design positions is def worth it I think.
Thank you for your suggestions, I will definitely take a look at the courses. (P.S. By the way, you are very beautiful.)
🌌 Have you delved into the world of DTF printing Hogwarts designs on t-shirts? We'd love to hear about your magical moments. Share your wizarding fashion adventures with us! @fastdtftransfer
I joined the IDF last december, and i'm currently taking 4 courses. I have over 10 years of experience in the field of UX, but it was time to refresh some basic knowledge and learn some new ones. I totally recommend their courses!.
Great intro. However still not sure what Figma does!? I see a lot of web designers are using it now - but does it export code and css?
some feedback, would have been nice to see actual examples vs just hearing about it
thank you for taking the time to feedback however, as much as I would LOVE to share the work I do. I'm unable to do so based on its very senstative data that I do not own the rights to and also contracts that don't allow work in progress to be in public domain. I share as much as I can, without sharing what I'm actually doing and the data involved.
@@GemmaHelyer that's understandable. it also doesn't need to be real work, but a couple examples to show what you do could be helpful. e.g. "I usually look at around 5 competitors, some that are close matches, some that are more loose fits, I usually note down strengths, weaknesses, and then group them by XYZ." or showing 3 comments you would make it you were to do it with a different competitor that you're not analyzing for this project. you could also create some visuals to show how you've spent your day (or your calendar blocks but with high level details like "client catch up", "Stand up" etc. would also be interesting to hear about how your average day is different from when you were a junior or mid, you somewhat alluded to that with how you haven't done design in a while, but would have loved to hear more about that :)
Thank you Gemma. Your explanation is very clear and straightforward.
In the name of take home assignments or task companies are simply steal the works of the designer as they simply post a job and re post it every 3 months and keep improving there own website. Be very careful about take Home task
Hi thank you for the comment! :) if you watch the video I talk about this topic and that this take home assignment was nothing to do with the company I applied to.
I love Your accent!🥰
Thanks 🏴
❤❤❤
Is it possible to use font size 20 if 16 is too small and 24 is too big? Do I have to be bound to a system of multiples of 8 in the font at all times?
Hey, you don't have to be bound by multiples of 8. its just a guidelines to help with consistency.
Thank you Gemma, really helped me out
Take love ❤❤
Take love💙💙💙💙
I prefer 12 grid coz as a developer bootstrap and other developer tools is divided to 12
I loved the fast paced style of this intro tutorial!, videos like this are really useful for newbies like me 😅
Topnotch to the point content. And I also liked the way you speak, move around, expressions, this is like a beautiful song laced with UX/UI poetry la la la 😘
hi
can you do more than one specialization? Would love to do ui for ux designers but also front end development! If im already a graphic designer with more than 9 years under my belt, do you think i need the ui for ux? could i just do front end dev?
I think you have written product design description into UI/UX design and vice versa 🤔
