He was my first celebrity that made me cry. R.I.P I wanted to be him growing up. I would volunteer at Oregon Zoo and he inspired me to educate the public on Animals. It was a big part of my upbringing

Bobo talking about smoking weed while watching nature sounds like the best time ever Being surrounded by nature missing almost everything you ever loved.. there's nothing better It's either focus on what you lost or focus on everything that's still here that still makes you happy Why focus on the shit that's dragging you down instead of focusing on the good times and the possibilities

God bless his father. I’ve always said that you should never be the one who attends your children’s funeral it should be the other way around. They should be the ones attending your funeral first. But sadly sometimes that’s just the harsh reality.

It’s 2023 , nearly 1 month away from 2024 and I don’t know what always brings me back to watch marathons of Steve , I think it’s a childhood thing , Steve was a comfort , he was kind and enthusiastic, he made you feel like you could be a great person ! I still cry when I watch things and think what he could have done in this world but looking at Robert and Bindy he definitely passed all that on along with Terri , they are amazing children following on with his legacy… I’ll forever love Steve Irwin ♥️

When I heard the news, I hung to watch the news to hear he pulled through. I was guttered that he didn't. His energy & positivity was magic and I am glad the world had him, sadly for too short of a time. Love him to bits.

I use to work as the Unit Manager on his TV commercials shot at the Zoo for John's production company, back in the day. The three jobs were "Australian Quarantine Matters", a Toyota 4WD TVC and the new Guan rail TVC before his death. During the Toyota ob he had just lost his mother in a car accident that took a heavy toll, but Terry was close by his side on the day. He sincerely loved the animals more than fame and the rewards, but the elements gave great facility for the animals. His driving force. Many question his personality on camera, to his normal life? I sore both, not unlike anyone adjusting to local banta in the outback regions. It's what we do here in Oz in a vast country. I sore him for the great father, son and husband he was, so tragic to loose such a man and Australian icon in his prime. 80 million he was worth at the time of his demise. Money devoted to future preservation areas after Australia Zoo hospital expanctons. Of course we have to turn up the Aussie personality for the Yanks, but his grass roots was 100% sincere as a true Aussie bloke. The fuss over him he never quite gelled with, as a true blood Aussie. Forever excepting the soules of wildlife through heavens gates? Good on you Steve Irwin.

Steve Irwin was family to all of us who watched him. He was so extremely magnificent and magnetic. Its honestly completely unexplainable! I'm grateful that we have Chandlers wild life and dingo. There are so many more but those 2 have Steve's magnetism and knowledge...that unexplainable energy. My kids even love Steve. He's the most beautiful legend of all. We love learning from him and his family even today.

I don't think I've ever really felt sadness for loss of someone who I never knew like I did with Steve. My heart broke for Terri and her babies. When she did the interview with Barbara Walters her sadness felt so deep I felt so bad for her. I am so grateful she had them to hold on to because she may not have survived without them. She has done a wonderful job raising them.

I thought this was really good. It was nice to see & hear from & about Bob, Steve's father. That ending really helped clarify Steve's perspective & "mission" for me. I always remember him being passionate, watching him on TV as a kid, and when you watch anything on Terri, Bindi, & Robert you hear them talk about "Steve's mission" a lot, but this was the first time I remember anyone clarifying what that mission was: conservation. I wish he would have made that more obvious in his TV shows. Like maybe asking people to donate to specific organizations & help push for certain laws in government at the end of his episodes. I always remember him saying that no matter what, you shouldn't interfere with the natural way of life like helping wild baby sea turtles keep from getting eaten by birds because that's altering & affecting the circle & way of life. That certainly is conservation in a way. I really just wish he would have pushed the general conservation idea a lot harder & more clearly. We could use people with that level of passion these days. It seems like the only passionate people these days are the fruit-loops & political extremists who're only concerned about themselves. What a loss. It was nice to see & hear from & about Bob & the rest of the crew. I guess there was a split between Bob & Terri. I didn't like how it seemed Terri was smothering & isolating & trying to commercialize the kids. I think the death of Steve was unimaginably hard on her though. From another video I watched it looks like the zoo/park is doing pretty well & looks pretty nice though. I wonder what Terri & Bob differed in opinion about. I wonder what Bob would have done differently, if he approves or approved of what the zoo/park became, and if he & Terri get along now & if he got to see the kids & if at least they get to see eachother now, if Bob's still even alive. Wow. What an impact.

Bob was Steve's Inspiration and mentor. Without Bob Steve would have been an average dunderhead nothing in Melbourne. Bob moved them to Beerwah, built what is now called Australia Zoo and under Terry's control he is out. It's very telling that Terri and the family ( Bindi and Bob) were unavailable for the program. In June 2021, Bob Irwin's granddaughter Bindi claimed that her entire life "has been psychological abuse from him." She also stated that Bob "never said a single kind word" to her personally", and had “shown no interest” in spending time with her or her family. Irwin denied these comments through a spokesperson not long after. In my opinion it is inconceivable that that would be the case if Steve was still alive. The one in control of the situation is Terri. It appears that Terri has divided the family and brainwashed the children against Bob.
