Did you ever find the clock key? Sometimes they’re taped up under the cabinet of the clock
Yes, we did finally find it! Sometime later after we had finished almost everything, we found it in the sewing machine drawer. We have only made a few shorts, but we made one for that. It's under a minute, but it shows the key and a quick look inside.

What is the most valuable item that you guys have found at a yard sale, estate sale, dumpster diving, from the trash etc? Let me know. I do the ebay side hustle
I have been thinking about it a bit. The way we do this, we don't often find items that are many thousands each, but I think in recent years our business plan has started relying on the $100-400 items more. Our main income is supposed to be from items $35-80. Besides the rare fine jewelry we have found (we have found thousands of $ at once, but not often enough to rely on) Some of the most valuable items sold on ebay lately have been: Lenox Thomas Blackshear figures found in a storage unit(about $200-600 each), a Baccarat vase at the thrift (over $200). We have sold a large number of Lladro figurines this year, also (from about $50 up to around $220). It has helped with a steady income to sell a lot of things like shoes and electronics, too. I will be thinking about how to share this kind of stuff. I do love the idea of us resellers helping each other find good stuff! Those good items really make reselling a great way to make money
@FlippinTheMitten I just sold a thrifted pair of Golden Goose Sneakers on ebay this week for $125 they were used but purchased new are $680. I also found a Roberto Cavalli $1600 top at Goodwill and sold it for $400. But you are right those high priced items are few and far apart

It is so satisfying to find good things on clear out day! It still almost surprises me when it happens. What is definitely still more surprising is when we get recognized, lol. It is so fun, though... we have had the chance to meet some viewers and it has been just a wonderful experience!

I sometimes wish we could pick up way more stuff, just to do that! It would such a rewarding day. We do get to donate truck loads of stuff, though... doing this work. We usually have to try for things to sell first, but eventually a lot of things do get donated.
I think that there was black widow spider eggs on that chest and the end table. If could this is 4 months ago so why did I write this after the fact. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
