The kouryer podcast is a podcast bout the experiences and the journey of diffrente artists and creative minds and how people who listen to the podcast can get some mental clarity on how to follow their art journey.
At 45:50 Kevin Gnu gives his opinion on the impact of AI in a broader sense on society. I think the similarity to the movie Click is a great way of framing it as there is no feeling of joy or accomplishment from the instant gratification and just skipping/fast forwarding the process.

Is there any room for purely 2d artists anymore? People who draw and paint? or would it be in my best interest to learn some 3d like Blender and Daz studio? I'm interested in characters and creatures. I also wouldn't mind working in video games and movies. I know concept art is about design and ideas rather than pretty pictures like illustration so I was just wondering.

honestly i personally am not an expert on this like most guests i bring on the podcast but that being said i think if you can make yourself stand out from the crowd in any field theres a chance you can make your own personal brand with your art even tho lets say wont make it in the industry big time like a lot of people in the past 2 decades. sorry if my response was a bit general but all in all dont lose hope and good luck out there!

Just learned about this channel, very eager to watch this; I love Halo, the artists behind its visuals are a big part of why that is so and Darren did some wonderful stuff for it; I hope you can invite more of the folks who worked on the franchise, it seems like the common theme with them all is that they have some crazy background and they either were very far away from gaming as a whole or they were diehard fans of the franchise, it’s also common that they were formally studying architecture, graphic design at some major city, aeronautics via living near some NASA center or having some relative who worked for some space agency or automotive stuff. 17:07 I totally get him, there’s so much wonderful art that’s been done throughout history and it’s hard to even know where to start looking for inspirations or role models, who to compare yourself with or how much can you recognize yourself when you’ve got such monumental steps to follow or aspire to someday leave a big mark of your own. Curious to hear the Sorolla pick when usually people just go for more popular artists of the country like Diego Velázquez or El Greco, knowing Darren’s art for several years now, I can see the influence, he likes shimmering light somewhere in the background, subjects staring at grand scenarios, objects in motion facing imposing static places, colorful yet refined palettes, etc.

thank you so much this comment made my day! also I'm inviting so many people from different places and backgrounds but its pretty random when it comes to getting a time and date finalized and record an episode with them. i think i did some guests before who worked at 343 industries who might have did some work on halo franchise but i can't really recall which ones were they. anyway welcome to the channel hope you enjoy your stay! :D

This comment made my day!! thank you so much i really appreciate your kind words. i honestly feel really bad that because of my nervous ticks sometimes on camera or bad audio quality sometimes the podcast for me becomes annoying especially when i have an awkward moment with the guest on the podcast as well and stuff like these makes me super critical of myself. and im always trying to get better. but reading this comment really made me happy cause this is LITERALLY THE WHOLE POINT!! to make a time capsule of conversations with artists for future generations and anyone who is interested in diving deeper or just interested in dialogues of artists. hopefully i can later on expand this project into bigger things in the future. so people like you can benefit from it! sorry for the long rant, have a good one!
