    I just stumbled onto your video and I always wonder why not just Arizonan’s but tourists from all over flock to the most crowded beaches in San Diego? North county between Carlsbad and Encinitas there’s tons of parking and between Carlsbad and Leucadia you’re likely to have a stretch of beach all to yourself or close to it. I love welcoming visitors to our beaches. The traffic can get intense but it’s all manageable. Anyways by now you’re both parents which is awesome! Congrats!

    Thanks for posting this video. I’m from the UK. I’ve been on the route a few times, when I was over in Arizona. It’s a gorgeous state. As a Brit, I felt very privileged to have been to visit. I remember the first time I passed through Payson. As I recall back in 1998, I saw a flat top mountain and thought oh wow. Is that the route, when the deer are seen on the highway at night. I was being driven back from Phoenix one evening when it was dark. I saw several deer out on the highway.

    Phoenix is a young city supposedly and thier downtown skyline is kind of small.I seen it on a areal view on another video.Wasnt a whole lot to see and rest city is almost at 1.7 million people.I wish they would build like 6 skyscrapers that are 60 stories high like the city I live in which is Dallas.But I can see it happening in the next 20 years that Phoenix will have real big city buildings.I am pretty sure eventually it will be done.Tgey should build another airport on the edge of the city so Phoenix can go build 60 story buildings.

    I much prefer the Scottsdale mall, especially since it's a year round mall, no heat and more stores, but all the same ones that are here. But, it will all disappear as our water supply goes due to this overbuilding by republicans.

    4:49 She said the traffic and parking in San Diego is awful, lol! I lived in the Phoenix hell hole for twenty years and I can tell you first hand that traffic is 100 times better in San Diego. People actually know how to drive. Also, the people are 100x nicer in San Diego. And San Diego is a paradise, whereas Phoenix is a brown desert and a living hell. Sorry, no offense.

    @@ArizonaInsider Actually, I moved to San Diego from AZ a year ago. And you are right about the cost of living being sky high here. Parking can me tough in certain areas here, especially on the weekends. But it's legal to park on the street in most of San Diego. In a lot of places in Phoenix street parking is not allowed. Thanks for the video and perspective from a fellow Arizonian. No offense. I just don't like Phoenix. I lived in the Cottonwood-Sedona area for a while and northern AZ isn't too bad.

    Hi, I am actually from Litchfield Park and I will say it has to be one of the best neighborhoods in the state. At 5:20 in the video you can see that white house. Straight across from there was my house. I came across this video and it made me cry a bit because the nostalgia just hits different. I am in 7th grade right now but I went to Litchfield Park Elementary School when I was in kindergarten through 5th. I moved right before my 6th grade year to a whole different state but I miss LFP so much. Thank you for making this video. It touched my heart.

    There is a large construction project underway adjacent to the current “entertainment district”, located in the vicinity of the Wigwam Resort. I believe it will be mostly retail/dining, and I’m sure the design will fit in nicely with the current architecture there. For fine dining, check out Litchfield’s at the Wigwam. Very nice!

    This is a wonderful hike, I am visiting Phoenix and have been hiking every day so far. I did the Camelback Echo Canyon trail the first day then Piestewa the 2nd day. I loved it so much that I did it again the next day. Echo Canyon and Piestewa are both rated as very difficult trails but in my opinion Piestewa is significantly easier. There's a few spots that are a little rough and if you want to get up on the actual peak it takes some climbing but it's not nearly as hard as the Echo Canyon trail on Camelback. If you like hiking and great views you have to do this.

  • @ArizonaInsider
    @ArizonaInsider Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for watching! I’d have to agree with you, Echo is definitely the more difficult of the trails. Check out my video on Camelback, where we hike up Echo Canyon.
