AeroStuff FPV

AeroStuff FPV

This channel is created by me, Nathan, to share my growth in building & flying my own Medium/Big sized FPV Aircraft with the Experimental Airlines building techniques. I also upload instructional videos to share my own idea's to build FPV platforms of various configurations for experimental purposes and research (V-Tail Pushers, H-Tail Pushers, Push/Pull, Solar Power, Flying Wings & much more)

    Thank you for the well explained video. I also have the ev800d goggles but with the stock antenna’s I’m getting low range with a 1000mw AKK vtx barely making it 300 meters. Are you running a 5.8ghz amplifier and diy antennas to get this range?

    That's really OP. But at least AKK deliver the 10W on tester. Not like Eachine claiming 800mW and max about 600mW or so.... Great video 👍

    That ridiculous power and equally ridiculous band diversity tells me that it's pretty obvious this is meant for FPV warfare; that massive power is meant for burning through jamming and all those extra little-used bands are for staying off the well-known and well-covered FPV bands that current electronic warfare systems keep a close eye on and most jammers are built for.

    Great video Nathan I just subscribed to your channel , Question do you prefer the Matek F411 over the Matek 405 ?. I am going to get my feet wet into longrange flying and will be starting off with a simple plane that I currently have . alierons ,rudder & elevator . I will attempt to build one of your planes down the road. I enjoy building foam board planes .

    The wind has zero to do with how an aircraft can remain in the air when looking at the power required. It would only matter if you were slope soaring and you arent. Zero. knowing this is a basic and when doing the work you are doing the basics are necessary.

  • @k0r0e0s
    @k0r0e0s12 күн бұрын

    Well, not exactly. The wind produces turbulences, and throws the little airplane in all directions, so even to maintain level flight you have to actively counteract this all the time, losing efficiency that way.

  • @Themheals
    @Themheals11 күн бұрын

    @@k0r0e0s thats not something you design for. Every aircraft of every type experiences that in the medium through which it flies. Its not a factor

  • @AeroStuffFPV
    @AeroStuffFPV10 күн бұрын

    Well, planes can be made more ‘slippery’ to lessen the effect of turbulence, loss of lift, and regaining altitude easier (less power) - making it more efficient. Things can be measured for sure after such a flight (mAh/km)

  • @Themheals
    @Themheals10 күн бұрын

    @@AeroStuffFPV just explain slippery and then explain to me how planes are designed as you say. Give me some examples.

  • @Themheals
    @Themheals10 күн бұрын

    @@AeroStuffFPV OK just explain how they are made more slippery (please define slippery) and then tie the slippery to more efficient please. Im just looking to know what you know. Just break it down for me

    Hi, I'm from remote part of Sri Lanka . I have done similar 1m ( completed ) and 2m ( still in building phase ) wingspan RC planes . I have only 1m Fuselage and every other part done as above specs you. I have 22kV motor 4800mAh 3S batteries . Do you think 1m Wing (100g ) will work with these ? 2m wing will be around 900grams . Whats your recommendations ? Can i talk to you via web ? Due to bad weather test flights not done for a week and cant seems to be good for next few days either .

    Can the antenna be integrated in the vertical stabilizer? I may have to seek through the build video, but you could try to 3d print some parts to get rid of those struts. I think Chessna has struts because the wing has to be thin in the center to fit on the roof. Or is it about spare ribs ? If you have any way to produce ribs on demand, then a triangular planform is always better than oval + struts.
