  Stoke and throw are not the same, the throw is just how long you hang your needle out, which could be the same on any stroke. Your correct on saying stroke is link to how hard or soft a tattoo machine hits which is the same on both coil and rotary machines. The reason why - longer stroke hits harder than a shorter stroke is down to science. I longer stroke can takes longer to travel a full rotation which in turns builds up more kinetic energy therefore hitting harder, opposite for storter strokes. Less combine with different motors and strings on coils machines can change tho. Motors with different torque and rpm like hard or soft springs on coils could change any machine. Listen to machine builders

  there is way to save the stencil if you accidentally drew onto the wrong layer. need to play around with duplicating layers and changing blending modes.

  42:00 minutes in and still watching this video! For the last 2 years I’ve been strictly practicing the fundamentals and I still haven’t touched shading. Probably have tattooed over 50 skins (honestly just giving it my everything) and so many more already planned out. You really can’t skip anything, please don’t. Loved the video so far and couldn’t understand and agree with your opinion more! Killer video and opinion man and killer tattoos, I look forward to seeing what else you have done. I love what you said any different needles and all these things that don’t matter.. only if people knew that they can’t buy experience.
