Nothing against Rita Coolidge, but this is, by far, the best rendition of We’re All Alone.

I have never enjoyed listening to a bass player as much as I have listening to the bass player in this song, he has the smoothest richest bass tone that I've ever heard of any bass player play in my entire life I would really like to know what he's playing through and that's saying a lot because I have spent hours upon hours upon hours in my life listening to music from a young person and I'm 71 years old.

I got to see them in concert a few times. When they played this at the JVC Jazz Festival at the Concord Pavillion, Bob James rocked it. The other musicians were looking at him in awe. The last time I saw him play this was in Ventura at the Fender Rose concert. Always a treat! Thank you Bob James ❤
