You met Russ Freeman? Wow, I want to meet him! Where do I find him? I want to meet him very badly! Is he coming to Salt Lake City Utah? I wish I could meet him. I'm so obsessed with The Rippingtons music since I heard it on the Weather Channel.

There once was a dream called the West Coast of Florida... retirees and young folk living in peace. We were all members of the same Sunshine Club. Sit down, have a drink. Go swimming. Enjoy your job. Yeah the heat sucks in the summer, but man, those cool autumn days and nights. The sea. The sun. Being that it was the '80s only made it better. Keep going.

A forever-great tune by Russ. I remember David Benoit saying "I should've written this." Well, so should've I! I was fortunate to see the first iteration of this band -- including Dave Benoit -- perform this live back in the '80s at Howard Rumsey's Concerts By The Sea, an intimate club (now gone) on the Redondo Beach pier in So. Cal. Some great memories never fade!
