Because of the INAJD (which is 1000/10), this song makes me wanna attract girls better than Paul Anka imo. ❤❤

It took me ages to find out; they use it as a relaxed tune in „Die Gentlemen bitten zur Kasse“ when the chap are drunk and celebrate Georgies birthday. I first found out „Java“ in 2018 on a motorway from Venice to Rome when my wife put me relaxed jazz music to make my way.

One more thing I would like to add in the argument that Rock and roll has to have a guitar. Ever heard of Fats Domino? His recordings are heard in many, many Rock oldies volumes. U suppose some out there are dense enough to think he isnt a rock and roll icon just because he played a pinao instead of a guitar. Or, how about Jerry Lee Lewis? Give us a break!

When I listen to the arguements over whst is and what isnt rock and roll I really have to laugh. A whole lot of modern "rock" doesnt even cone close. Its just light pop. Argueing about wether having a guitar or not is hust plain silly. Tryung to determine what is the first rock and roll record is wven more absurd. Rock "rocks" and rhats it! Uve been listening since 1949 and I think I know what it is so, please stop the horseshit.

Jim Dale was a one hit wonder like so many pop artists of the late 1950’s. He didn’t have a bad voice, but he sensibly abandoned singing and followed an acting career in comedy films, and then much later appeared in many musical stage shows. Jim Dale, like his 50’s counterpart, Tommy Steele, became a successful all round entertainer in the 1960’s and 70’s.
