I have a 3 hour morning radio show and use this song at 6AM as my intro song. Works really well, like an alarm clock, I’m told.😂

Don't care where I heard it first, I'm just glad I finally did!

Hopefully, Robinson is receiving royalties for this song being used in a commercial, and its not all going to Capitol Records.

Heard this on that commercial...thought a woman sang it and wondered “why does she sound so strange?” It’s because it’s not a woman...it’s a lil boogie woogie kid. Makes sense now

The release date for the track was 1954 when Robinson was 15 (he was born in December, 1938). Some people claim he was a lot younger when it was recorded. Anyone have any info on this?

Every time that GM commercial played on TV this song would crawl into my ear and not leave for hours sometimes. I finally had to find out who it was by...and man was I shocked. It’s from 1954, and it’s a little kid! And the whole song is great...not just the little snippet you hear on TV. Rock on Sugar Chile!

@@alanlindner8641 You're lucky, I've had two new trucks where the fuel pumps went at 15k and 24k. Also bought a new dualie for my business which had the dash crack from UV after 14 months of ownership. Switched to Ford and Toyota, no issues. I wish I could rely on GM, but my trust is gone. UAW caused them to use too many shortcuts in manufacturing.
