    This is one good saw. The reason I bought this miter saw was because of its WEIGHT only 26 pounds. I'm too old to carry a 100 lb. miter. Also, this saw works very well.

    Dude. I read every page of the "instruction" manual and was absolutely clueless on how to put this thing together. I'm only half way through (I think?), but wanted to come here to see how I can venmo you $20. I'm not sure if you're saving me more time or frustration, but no matter what, I'm extremely grateful. Excellent video!

    you're method for determining square requires a board that is square to begin with, i just noticed you didn't point that out, so i did, ,,it drove me nuts butting 2X4 framers that weren't square , and it took a carpenter friend of mine a few secconds to point out that my lumber was kinda twisted and almost all of my framing 2X4 's were like that, now when i do my set up , i use a nice piece of nery square everywhere PVC 5/8 X 3 " trim , it just removes 1 variable in the set up if something does happen to be off a tad

    Thanks for this video, Rigid didn't put in the washers and bolt for the miter saw brackets to be secured. I am so pissed off because I have to go buy some now. They are worst.

    I purchased this saw a couple of years back and it is still unopened but that is about to change. It will be perfect for the deck rebuild that I will start in just over a week. I purchased an Evolution Power Tools Miter Saw Stand Plus and look forward to setting everything up this coming weekend. I caught it on sale at Lowes for some where around $80 likely due to the fact that it was scheduled to be discontinued.

    if you set a stop on one side of the blade, dont pin the board with your hand on the other side of the blade. The workpiece on one side of the blade needs to be free of clamp, hand, or stop. Never pin the workpiece on both sides of the blade.

    That cart looks very flimsy.

  • @MarriedManWoodworking
    @MarriedManWoodworking2 ай бұрын

    The versatility of the handle makes it seem flimsy but for almost 3 years I have used this hand trick for a variety of items. I have also let others use it when moving boxes, plywood, and even some furniture. I would not recommend it for moving refrigerators but moving boxes or bags of mulch it has been a champ. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

    Love this idea! I don’t really want to store a compound miter saw so prefer to use circular and jig I already own. So this is great!. question: what type glue do you recommend? I’ve tried different brands on other project with no luck. Ty

    I really liked this cart until I realized that they failed to include actual rollers. Also the older version has nice supporting feet that drop out from the extending (non) rollers. One step forward two steps back.

    This video made it an easy decision to finally purchase this stand. Unfortunately RIDGID decided not to include half of the installation parts in the box, so I’ll have to wait another two weeks to be able to finish putting this together. Great job on the step by step instructions as well as the closeup shots.

    so when zeroing it we touch it and the angle changes? In that case I'd suggested the zeroing to happen say like two seconds after, after pressing the button.

    I just bought one of these at Home Depot. Pulled it out of the box and went to KZread to get a quick overview. You are an excellent reviewer. You covered everything I wanted to know about first use and a demonstration of loading the nails. You went beyond by showing the issues with addressing the pressure for the nails. I am now going to do some test nails and now that the snow is mostly gone, I am spending the afternoon fixing damage from winter storms. I appreciate you for making this video.
