Where did you study short courses of spanish language for new to spain where you can go out and practice speaking spanish ?
We went to the one most convenient for us. Unfortunately that school is now closed. There’s intercambio events where you can practice language exchange with a native spanish speaker.
Nice video.
Thank you!
Requiring in-person appointments for visa is too much to ask of people and especially families. I wonder who's decision this was and what was the actual motivation. That is asinine.
For families, I agree it can be challenging to bring the kids. But as this is a residence visa, it’s understandable that they want the application in person, at least the main applicant. But them’s the rules. This is the norm for the US and other countries as well, the green card applicants all have to go get their biometrics taken and pass an interview, so there are things that will be done in person for most immigration procedures, not just for Spain.
if a person moves to Spain on non-lucrative visa and gets a residency card , but may need to work somehow in Spain later, what status change can he or she apply for to allow to work as a non-citizen?
You will need to apply for Digital Nomad, Autonomo or Work visa, depending on which category best suits you. This doesn’t mean you can just switch, your application can still get denied if it doesn’t meet the requirements.
Can naturalised citizens of Latin American countries apply for two years route of Spanish citizenship?
Unfortunately you have to have been born Latin American, the nationality must have been by origin.
This is super helpful. You guys made a great video again. Keep it up!
Thanks for watching! 🤗
in already in europe po but i wanna go in spain pwede ba sa aviation ang field ko pwede ba ako kumuha ng digital nomad visa? mag kano ang minimum salary sa digital nomad visa
Hello! I don’t know what kind of job you have. Please fill out the digital nomad visa quiz to see if you qualify. Bureaucracy.es/everythingisboffo.
@@EverythingIsBoffo di pala po ako pwede sa digital nomad pano po makahanap ng work dyan sa spain gusto ko lumipat yung nakikita ko mga jobs inline sa work ko now lagi puro need nila ng right to work sa eu or meron ng work permit sa spain ano po step na pwede ko gawin para makapag work dyan sa spain para makahanap ako ng work?
@@viny0048 mahirap talaga maghanap ng trabaho dito, lalo na if you you need a work visa. They will have to prove na no one in the EU can do what you do before they can get the visa. Unless you work for yourself and get the Autonomo or Self-employed visa.
@@EverythingIsBoffo pwede po ba ako pumunta nalang dyan tapos dyan nalang ako mag hanap ng work
@@viny0048 I don’t think I can advise on that, that’s entirely up to you. I don’t know anything about the aviation industry, but it’s best to come here with a job lined up already.
They were saying “monkey monkey monkey monkey!” Vale real are horrid
Do you apply for the TIE or do you have it right away once you enter Spain. As I understand the TIE is the basis for the renewal but not the expiry date of your DNV. What are the difference of the requirement in renewing the DNV in SPAIN vs the one you undergo in PH(aside from the higher income requirement in SPAIN)? Also can you talk about the tax and govt fees we need to pay, i want to know how much in % I will contribute?
The TIE is the residency card, you will need to go to the Police station to get fingerprinted and then pick up the card after a few weeks. Please contact Marina for the rest of your questions, she’s the expert! Don’t forget to use our link! Bureaucracy.es/everythingisboffo ☺️
Hello very nice video! thanks! Can I share my card also for my wife for metro? So the instructions will be like activate it, go through barrier. Then pass to wife and then she activates it go through barrier. So now we have 2 trips count on this single card. And then we arrive to destination. The next step is to deactivate card two times to get out from destination station? Is it right?
Yes we do that a lot when we have friends visiting!
Great info!
Thank you! ☺️
We love it there! We love the staff too!
Awesome! ☺️
Regarding whether you can use 1 card to pay for more than one person on the bus, I was on a bus today where a person did that. She simply let the driver know which other person she was paying for.
Yup, that’s what we do too. ☺️
Expats and tourists are not welcome in Valencia at all. They have risen rents so much that now they are equal to Paris. With Spanish salaries being so low, local people cannot afford housing anymore. People are very angry at foreigners and they will let you know daily if you go. Better go elsewhere, or even better, stay in your own country.
We tried The Black Turtle Burger in El Carmen it was pretty good and lots of options
We always see this place when walking around. Probably a good time to try it! Thank you 😊
@EverythingIsBoffo btw of you hear about a getting hold of cheap property to buy please do share. It looks like prices exploded over there
Do you recommend some of the smaller towns on the coast or inland as we are more interested to live in a house. It shall be a bit international or at least vivid with restaurants and some culture.
Is Valencia safe in the evening? Are there always people on the streets ?
The streets are well-lit and the sidewalks are wide. It’s very safe even at night. Depending on where you are, there could still be people out and about at midnight.
What do you guys do jobwise?
Hello! We own a wedding video company in the US and our partners are running it while we are away! Check us out - Boffo Video! ☺️
We just returned from 6 days in Valencia earlier this week and loved it even more thanks to your recommendations and perspective. Subscribed and big fans.
Thank you so much, glad you found it useful! ☺️
Nice video. Would like to know i you share the contact details of your sworn translator? Checking different sworn translators here in the Philippines or in Spain. Thanks. Take care and hoping to hear from you soon.
Hello. Contact Alba Fernandez Carrasco! [email protected]. She’s great!
Why use this VERY EXPENSIVE LAWYER to interview when he charges 4 to 5 times what a regular lawyer does. I am not watching your channel anymore.
This is just the content I'm loving! Headed to Valencia for a few days late this summer and can't wait to experience as much as possible!
Thanks so much! Enjoy!
Love the video and great point about the food difference. Try Barrica Verde by Ayuntamiento next time you are in the area, lovely place to hang and try good wine. And Paul, next time I’ll say hi louder when I see you running in Turia 😉😉
Yes please do! ☺️
Enjoyed the video. We're planning to try several of your suggestions. We enjoy Kathmandu on Salamanca in Gran Via. Don't think you'll be disappointed.
Ah! We will try that next time. What did you have there? ☺️ Thanks for watching!
@@EverythingIsBoffo Everything is good. My wife's favorite is the shrimp korma. I enjoy the biryanis.
Wow! thanks Marina! she is very knowledgeable and confident. I'm very interested and will contact them.
Amazing! Don’t forget to use our link to get that discount!
Also regarding the driver's license conversion - does it have to be valid?
Yes it does
Thanks for your response! Greetings from Dubai ♥️
Hi Bea and Paul, thanks for this very helpful video. I wonder if the application can be initiated while inside Spain then go back to the UAE and wait for the release while outside Spain? Does that work? Thanks for your feedback.❤
I’m not sure… please get in touch with Marina at Bureaucracy.es/everythingisboffo for your questions, she’s the expert!
@EverythingIsBoffo thanks, I will try to get in touch with Marina
Hi, your posts are reaaaalllly helpful and I would like to thank you for these informative updates ❤ Would you be so kind to share your go-to airline/ portals for cheap domestic (within EU) flight tix? Thanks!!
We go with whoever is cheapest at that time. No problems so far with Air France, Vueling, and RyanAir. Soon we will try Volotea.
hace tiempo te recomende el pastoret, jejeje , a mi no me resulto muy caro,
Si, tienes razon! ☺️
Toni! Hay El Pastoret en el Mercado de la Imprenta! Cerca de estacion Joaquin Sorolla! ☺️

Thanks for the recommendations! Check out Himawari Ramen, love that place and their sakura tea!
Wow! Thank you! We’ll check that out for sure!
Shots shots shots! Good times! So many new places to try. 😃
Salud 🥂
Always a blast to see your recommendations! Thanks
Our pleasure! Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!
THANK YOU for your videos! I binged on them prior to my trip from Valencia - just came back. Maybe I just went to the wrong places, but I didn't find the food particularly good there. Interior of the restaurants in the major areas were decorated soo nicely, but unfortunately, the food just didn't deliver. I found the "dumpier" places had better food. It pales in comparison to other Spanish cities like Madrid, Seville, Granada, & San Sebastian.
Glad you like them!
Family and the same reason as you-quality of life, even for the elderly.
Yes yes yes! Longevity!
Im gonna do it in spanish. Me gusta mucho el canal de ustedes chicos, hablan despacio y claro, no se interrumpen al hablar, no es un canal ruidoso, es fácil de escucharlos y ver sus videos. Gracias por el contenido que hacen es muy interesante y agradable. All the people I met from the Philippines were always very kind, warm and friendly, what good people Filipinos are.
Aaaahh que magnífico leerlo! Mil gracias por su comentario y apoyo a nuestro canal. Nos alegramos! ☺️☺️☺️
Please, don't come to Spain, what these youtubers do is very irresponsible. Expats are expelling locals from their own cities and the backlash against them is getting aggresive. They have ruined the housing market for Spaniards and they are not welcome at all.
Buying a property for €300,000 does not qualify me for the Golden Visa, what will be my restrictions in spain for someone who resides in the US? Thanks
Without a visa you will be subject to the 90/180 rule, will be considered a tourist and can’t work in Spain.
@@EverythingIsBoffo salamat. so ...kailangan increase yung budget.
@@jonardlopez5019 instead of buying a property, maybe showing the 300,000€ in savings for the Non-Lucrative visa? It will allow you to live in Spain for more than 90 days, but you cannot work.
Thank you po, this is very helpful. We love the montages and the lo-fi music. ♥
Thank you very much din!
Around minute 20 the information is not correct. With a non lucrative visa you cannot work IN SPAIN. If you work remotely, and your income comes from abroad, then you declare and pay taxes (on your world wide income) when you become a tax resident.
Working remotely in Spain is more aligned with the digital nomad visa. And if you were to ask all the consulates if working outside Spain is allowed, you will probably get different answers and may be refused the non lucrative visa.
Thanks for the great information! 😊 I just moved here with my husband so looking forward to getting to know the city more 😊
Thank you for this extensive list!! It has so much on it and I'm excited to try all of them. My husband and I just moved here to Valencia so this list really helps. ❤
You’re welcome! Happy eating!
Hey how can connect to free wifi In spain?
Look into Wifi4eu!
Nice video but there are two mistakes. 1) The dome is STILL the largest UNREINFORCED concrete dome in the world even to this day. 2) Rain & snow does come in through the occulus and falls on the floor where it drains through holes in the floor. Little to no evaporation occurs. Sorry, but don't rely on urban myths.
How long did the process took?
We got our visas approved after 11 days. ☺️ we move a few months after the approval.
Thank you for making this video! Very helpful po.
You’re welcome!
Love your videos! We’re looking into DNV - hope they continue this in the coming years so we can experience living in SP and EU when we’re ready. Are dogs allowed in public transportation in Spain? Are shopping centres dog-friendly? Gracias!
I think the major cities are dog friendly! I know dogs are allowed in trains, not sure about buses and subways though. If you need help with your visas, don’t forget to use our link Bureaucracy.es/everythingisboffo !
Awesome - thanks for that. We’ll defo use your link when we apply. :)
Will you be able to take advantage of public healthcare in Spain on DNV?
With the dnv you will be required to purchase private Health insurance. If you have questions about it, we highly recommend checking out Innoinsure. They are the licensed offices for DKV and Asisa. They are highly rated, they meet all the requirements for Spanish visas, they speak english and most importantly, they have helped a lot of people that we’ve referred. Click here to know more: www.innoinsure.com/visainsurance/everythingisboffo Best of luck on your journey ✌🏼
Great video, very informative! How do you do your banking? What bank/s do you recommend using? What has been your experience as far as moving funds around and paying for daily purchases/bills. Also (not sure if you still maintain accounts in the Ph), how easy or hard is it to move money from there, say if you needed a ‘refill’ in your Spanish account. Sorry for the multiple questions, 😅 actually maybe you can come up with a vlog on this! 😊 thanks again
Hello! We kept our US bank accounts and credit cards, so we pay most of our stuff that way. We also opened with Wise to transfer from our US to Spanish accounts.
