    Some LG top load washers now have agitators, but they don't seem to rotate the clothes from the bottom to the top (or vis versa) the way my older GE did (I don't think the GE washer is this video was not even made by GE). The LG agitator just moves the clothes back and forth with more force. My older GE also allowed me to set the water level in 5 different levels. My new LG only allows me to use Deep Fill, which is too much water, but necessary otherwise there will only be a puddle of water that will not get clothes clean. Many of the problems of new washers (and dishwashers) are caused by EPA regulations.

    Maybe you should do a follow up on the units that never stop drying. LG HQ now admits it’s an issue where the dry cycle will run forever and they can’t seem to fix it.

    My dream recliner, Maverick w/solid leather everywhere on the chair. Got a partial leather & it's slowly falling a partial. Have on seat cover so no one has to look at it. It's still my fav & will keep it until I can afford a real 100% burgundy leather one!

    This is a product that I would only buy if I had a severe shortage of space. It's an impressive product in the same way that a TV VCR combo was back in the day but like a TV VCR combo, there's a lot of potential for problems and for one part to break while the other part is okay. If you have the space, I would stick with either stackables or traditional separate units.

    What an incredible honest, straightforward video! I will be purchasing a new home and need all new appliances. I have watched countless videos, read reports and no one was a straight as you are! I currently have all Whirlpool appliances, except for my dryer which is KitchenAid. My stove/range/microwave is GE. All appliances are from 1997. This week, a bunch of ice accumulated under my Whirlpool side-by-side ice dispenser. Repair person came, ordered the water valve, and it is good as new. My GE stove is another issue...some parts were not available. What he said to me is to buy Whirlpool because even 27 years later (that's how old my appliances are!), you can still order parts! I had looked at GE Cafe since it is so attractive but now have changed my mind based on what he said and what you said. QUESTION: my builder offers special incentives with KitchenAid packages. I know KitchenAid is an "upgraded" version of Whirlpool. Should I be concerned about KitchenAid? I want my appliances to LAST...goodness knows, it's a large investment. And yes, good point, your frig should not really need to split an atom! Probably one of the best lines ever. I subscribed right away to your channel since I appreciate the honesty!

    We appreciate the video and kudos, Blake! You raise a fair concern about replacement part costs, and we understand. As you suggest, this type of repair is not common at all. Our confidence in the robustness of the Combo’s design led to us establishing a 5-year warranty on the heat pump drying system. Should the repair become necessary, the 5-year warranty keeps consumer repair costs on the drying system under control, and complete drying system replacement lets us evaluate in depth and establish root cause. We are thrilled that there is such an enthusiastic community around the GE Profile combo products and it’s people like you that help us think about how we continually improve our products. We are on a journey towards offering individual drying system parts in the future to reduce replacement part costs as well as the technician’s time in completing the repair, and that brings “good things to life” for us all! Thank you, again, for your video!

    Do not buy the GE Cafe refrigerator. It looks beautiful but it will only cool from 41-51 degrees at best. It is the worse refrigerator I have ever owned. GE will do anything to NOT replace it. I am 65 and have owned many refrigerator's over the years GE Cafe is the worst! Buyer beware. June 2024

    We bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator that looks just like the one in your video. It worked the day it was delivered. A day and a half later the freezer started beeping with the HI letters so we turned down the temperature. It continued to get warmer. The next day the refrigerator started getting less cool and the alarm sounded. We unplugged it and let it sit 5 minutes, checked to be sure there were no vents blocked, made sure there wasn't too much food inside. We didn't clean any vents because its brand new. Any idea what could be wrong? Could the electricity plug have anything to do with it not working?

    👌😀💝TIP: Here's a little-known tip for maintaining the longevity of your washing machine, dishwasher, and other appliances. About 20 years ago, a technician who came to repair my dishwasher revealed the secret to me. By simply pouring some vinegar into your dishwasher or washing machine once a week or more, you can significantly extend the life of the appliance. Following his advice, I've been adding a cup of vinegar to my dishwasher without the need for any further repairs since two decades ago. TIPThe same technique has worked wonders for my Whirlpool washing machine, which has been running smoothly for more than 10 years without any servicing needed. While my current washing machine is functioning well, I do miss the traditional agitator feature. In my quest for a new and improved model from top brands like Bosch, Speed Queen, or Miele, I found that they only offer machines with a capacity of up to 3.2 cubic feet. As I require a larger capacity of 5+ cubic feet with an agitator for washing Cal King Comforters, I may have to opt for the LG 5.3 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Smart Top Load Washer with 4-Way Agitator in Graphite Steel (Model: WT7405CV) or consider the Hotpoint model, both of which have received excellent reviews.

    My theory, unless it is going to make it logically perform better (ex. dual action agitator vs fixed agitator), stronger built ( commercial models like Speed Queen vs. ordinary models), ergonomic choices (top fridge bottom freezer vs top freezer bottom fridge), brand reputation (Whirlpool & GE vs Samsung), or patriotism (buying US made vs. China), the higher price for extra features are not worth it to me. I like mine reliable, simple, and affordable.

    We're hooked to an unreliable government electric grid. Therefore, we buy electricity from local vendors (sharks). I need to know how much an induction cooktop range draws electricity. If it inflates the electric bill I'd forget about it and stick to gas, considering buying adequate pots and pans and anticipating cooking fails. I understood that instead of power control knobs, the range is supplied with sized "burners". This will mean a variety of different size pans. This is a negative mark for the induction system.

  • @BoulevardHome
    @BoulevardHomeКүн бұрын

    How much power it draws really will just depend on the model. However, on average they can draw up to 1500-2100 watts. Many I've personally seen are about 1800 watts. As for the burner size, it's true that you'll want a pan that matches the size, because only the areas directly above the magnet will get hot. There are "power controls" with induction, though. They just dictate the level of current being pulled through the coils, which in turn will influence the level of activity in your pan.
