OK, where is Athabascan? And, long, long ago, probably in the '60s, I read that Algonquin was an Athabascan-derived language. Is this so? What about Cherokee, and Sioux? Hopi appears to be a relatively recent language evolution, from Aztec sources, but what about Tohono O'Odham? Or Yacqui?

Luke17:31-32 is referring to when thee antichrist walks into the temple claiming to be God, “In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. Remember Lot's wife.” Americans dont sit on “Housetops” this is clearly talking about Jerusalem

It's very simple. In states in the more northern hemisphere, we could keep pork cold, and prevent it from infection. Back than, a fridge or a freezer was not an option. So you eat what you can eat at that moment, but you can't preserve the rest of that pig for "meat" at a long time. And yes, it is known for spreading diseases, actually, when "modernisation" arrived. Asterix, for example, but more actually, we still like to put a good hog on a BBQ for a whole day and eat ... The risk to get sick went up the clock, since Caesar invaded these countries. More people, less meat, more infested meat and so on. When you need laws, and there is no other law than religion, religion bans eating certain sorts of "meat". What people today do: "If it was bad 2000 years ago, it is bad today." While meantime, we invented freezers and fridges. ;-)

Excellent presentation and your conclusions are valid. Two things I might add. The first, you alluded to but only in passing. Jesus, an excellent teacher, utilized hyperbole quite often to make a point. His point here was, "It is very, very hard for wealthy people to enter the kingdom of heaven." Such a statement is true and accurate, but lacks punch. Turn it into a hyperbole and you have a powerful, memorable truth. "It is easier for a camel (the largest land mammal --or any animal for that matter-- commonly known to peasants in Galilee) to go through the eye of a needle (the smallest of openings)…" We do similar things today when we say, hyperbolically, "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse....I told you a thousand times...He's as old as Methuselah". Jesus does this when He speaks of sin. Instead of saying, "Sin is very, very bad and you need to get really, really serious about it." He says, "If your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out...entering into (eternal) life with one eye is better than the alternative with two eyes." Similarly, "When you see a speck in your bother's eye and you have a pole in your own eye..." etc. The second thought is that the "kingdom of heaven" is not heaven, but the kingdom that He was ushering in when He was here on earth (what Mark and Luke called the "kingdom of God"). Basically it was discipleship...following Jesus. Jesus had just told the rich man to sell everything, give it to the poor and come 'Follow Me." The man couldn't bring himself to make such a sacrifice. In that context, Jesus utters these famous words. The wealthy in 30 C.E. Palestine couldn't envision being blessed by having nowhere to lay one's head at night. For the poorer folks, however, it's not that big of a lifestyle change. Jesus' step brother James apparently saw the same reality. (James 2:5 "Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?")

"...the concept of hell does not exist in the older texts of the hebrew bible." Hmmmm... then these are references to...what exactly? : 1520 B.C. - Job’s Vision of the Grave (Job 10:19-22) The Grave is a deep land of shadows and darkness. It is the Valley of the Shadow of Death. It is a depressing place of no return; and a place of disorder. 985 B.C. - David’s Vision of the Grave (Psalm 88:3-7) Those who go down to the Pit have no strength; and they lie in their graves in beds. They are forgotten by God; only His wrath abides on them. It is a dark place. 701 B.C. - Isaiah’s 1st Vision of the Grave (Isaiah 14:9-20) The kings of pagan empires come to greet the arrival of the king of Babylon upon his death and entrance into the Grave. In this vision, they are seen rising from their “thrones” in the Grave. They disgrace him by reminding him of everything he has lost, how weak he now is, and that he won’t even get to lie down on his own bed, like the other pagan kings in the Grave can. Instead, he will go to the lowest pit: as a rotting corpse, lying on stones, and eaten by maggots forever. 680 B.C. - Isaiah’s 2nd Vision of the Grave (Isaiah 66:24) There are corpses of men who rebelled against the law of God. For ever and ever they are eaten by worms and burned in fire! 580 B.C. - Ezekiel’s Vision of the Grave (Ezekiel 32:17-32) Deep down below the Earth, there are massive cemeteries for the kings and armies of pagan empires; they are there not only because they were pagans, but because they ruled by terror: Assyria, Elam, Meshech and Tubal, Edom, Sidon, and Egypt. Each of their kings’ graves are in the center of their armies’ graves. They lie on coffin-like beds, but remain as souls fully conscious and living. They lie in grave pits, but are not buried by soil. The reason: “The punishment for their sins rested on their bones” (32:27). 530 B.C. - Daniel’s Vision of the Grave (Daniel 12:2) The wicked, whose names are not found written in the Book of Life, will after dying, awake to shame and everlasting contempt.

The succubus who hits the same people by entering the eyes or hitting privacy for example eventually gets murdered in ways that bodies don't stand up and souls don't come back. The BIBLE warns specifically to be afraid of the person's who know how destroy the body and sould and spirit. I think perhaps first cornering a child and questioning them illegally in the "next thing" way should stop and find out why the person murdered the asleep child instead of the awake child being beaten up at home. See how ugly this can turn. I didnt want to do this.

If we are sticking to Biblical scripture- the only Archangel named in the Bible was Michael. Gabriel was the only other angel that gave its name in the Bible, but without any hint to its rank. All we know is what Luke 1:19 tells us that Gabriel “ stands near before God”, and that God sent him to declare the news of the Christs birth. Orriel- is never mentioned is the Bible just like the rapture. There is also a middle ground, while not all Christian likely will not be caught up in the clouds, Rev. 14 :1-4 talks about a specific number of people from the earth that will stand before the throne. So while most will remain on earth some might be chosen as representatives for humanity in the heavenly kingdoms court.

Please guys read the bible and get an understanding of the theme of the Kingdom. Then it's not confusing or obscure. It just doesn't fit with the non-biblical ideas and doctrines, like the immortality of the soul or the trinity. The "rapture" as it is called, happens at the return of Jesus to earth, accompanied by an angelic army.. It is part of the first judgement. Only those who Jesus recognises as his brothers & sisters are resurrected if dead, or lifted up to meet him and changed in the air, if alive. Jesus will rule over mankind as King of the Kingdom on the earth.

I grew up (and still am) French evangelical. Yes, the Rapture was taught, but it was never a core belief, I never heard it in a sermon for example. The core belief is that Jesus will return one day. I ended up realizing on my own that there isn't biblical support for what we see as "the Rapture". What's strange is that the Rapture is still believed by nearly all of my evangelical friends, although they read and study the Bible a lot. When I tell them it's not real, some of them are like "oh ok", and others try to prove it's real using Bible verses.
