Hi, I have installed glossy ceramic tiles in my living room and kitchen area and turned up to be nightmare. Every footstep is visible and it causes my anxiety. Will this product help in reducing the gloss? Otherwise, will it make my tile matte.

Unfortunately, GlazeGuard is not recommended to seal glass tile it was developed specifically for Ceramic and Porcelain tile.

Does sealing the floor make it more slippery?
CoverShield VS1 is pretty grippy when the floor is dry, but if you are using it on a smooth floor, it can still be slippery when wet. FYI, the VS1 matte finish is more anti-slip than the gloss

OK, so i've got balcktop outdoors with engine oil (5W20). I take it that 1) this is an appropriate situation for applying covertec coverclean, and 2) all i do is pour this stuff on and keep it moist with water, and repeat as necessary,. Right?
Unfortunately no. CoverClean HC was developed for cleaning oil from contaminated concrete, not Asphalt or Blacktop. The Blacktop is made from petroleum products, so the microbes work on the blacktop, not the oil. You end up with a very faded-looking blacktop surface. Sorry, we could not be more helpful.

Yes, GlazeGuard can be used on Slate. It will darken the surface and give it a permanent wet look. GlazeGuard will soften at 150Deg F so you should not place hot pots and pans directly on the surface. Use a table mat or hot pad to protect the surface.

hello we have just had a project home completed, I do not like the vinyl flooring finish it looks dull and cloudy and leaves foot print marks when wet and hard to remove, I feel perhaps this product the satin polyurethene paint or vanish may help bring the colour out. But who would we get to apply this who would we ask for.. and how long does it take to dy. we will need to move from one room to another. any advice would be grateful for

You can look for a floor waxing and stripping service company in your area to do the application. They have experience in working with vinyl flooring. VinylGuard typically takes 12 hours to dry, depending on the application thickness, temperature and air movement. If there is no air movement in the room or the temperature of the floor is cold ( below 75deg F) its going to take longer to dry. When the VinylGuard dries tack free you can walk on it. We recommend you don’t replace furniture for 48 hours and even then lift and place do not drag furniture across the newly applied sealer.

If the wax is in good shape and just needs cleaning then yes the VinylGuard can be used over existing vinyl wax. No, the VinylGuard Matte sealer has flat no sheen finish. If you want shine use the VinylGuard Gloss or Satin Finish.

No you dont need to sand off the VinylGuard sealer. You lighly sand the surface or scrub the surfce to dull it down and the you can recoat. Its not necessary to remove the sealer.

Hello Seraphina. Thank you for your interest in our VinylGuard. This product bonds well to acrylic, so should be ok for your application. I recommend you scrub the surface with a green scouring pad and mild soapy water to prepare the surface. Rinse off any residue and allow to dry before applying the VinylGuard.
I don’t understand when they say no need to strip because you don’t strip vinyl floors. So is this really for vinyl plank flooring?

Yes, you can use VinylGuard for your application. It will fill in some of the texture and make the surface easier to keep clean. I recommend you prime first with PrimeSeal and then 1 coat of the VinylGuard

VinylGuard can be applied to peel and stick planks. Scrub the surface with a green or maroon scouring pad and a little soapy water and then rinse with clean water. Make sure the surface is clean and dry 12 hours before application.
Why the need for a primer? What does that do for the seal?. I want to seal a vinyl plank kitchen floor which stains in high traffic areas. Where can I buy in USA?
Thank you for your interest in our VinylGuard sealer. If the vinyl plank is porous, it will absorb sealer at a different rate and you end up with an uneven sheen. We recommend priming to even out the porosity of the vinyl before sealing. Its also more economical to prime and avoid the need for 2 coats of VinylGuard. I trust that assists. So if you only did 2 coats, a base coat and a clear coat you could put flakes on the base coat because it’s thicker than other polyaspartics?
