Is a better to apply concrete sealer by spray or by roller.
While important thing is to make sure that we don't apply the sealer too thick, particularly if it's a topical sealer.
The seal if it's too thick, it won't dry properly will remain soft, sensitive to moisture, it won't develop its physical properties, it's going to fail prematurely.
If it's a penetrating field, a sealer, you apply it too thick, it may not soak in the a lot of it sits on the surface and you need to clean remove that from the surface otherwise it will leave streaks.
So we want to control the thickness and I recommend spraying a sealer to do that control it much better than using a roller.
So using a pump up sprayer, garden sprayer or backpack sprayer, something that provides you know around 40 PSI pressure is an excellent way of applying a concrete sealer.
You could control the thickness you can if you're doing a larger project, contract or you can use airless equipment that will allow you to pump more material over a large area faster.
So I would definitely recommend spraying over rolling if you have to roll perhaps you've got a lot of texture and a roller benefits you more than a using a good microfiber rollers.
What I recommend something like a three eight nap and use that to spread out the sealer.
Again, we're not trying to apply it in a thick coat.
If it's a topical sealer, you're better to do two or three thin coats than one or two heavy coats.
