It definitely does show ✅✅
Definitly nice work. This is what healthy grass should look like.👍 Here in germany many people have problems with red tippedness because the weather is often change. A few days heat and than rain/71,6-77 F. But tall fescue and Kentucky Bluegrass and the corrects products stay safe by this weather.
Thank you. The weather can definitely have the biggest impact.
Nice!
My little piece of sanity.
Nice
Thanks Susan
I only spend $120-$130 four times a year
Wow 3 times more than a Pestie program.
Did they fill in ...? Also frequently mowing low can encourage tillering, otherwise it will prefer to clump like this.
How is it kinking wise?
Kinked during initial expansion but I didn’t notice more while watering.
👍

I plan to do the same plugging thing with buffalo grass on dog pee spots 😅
It’s much a useful process.
I use crabgrass spray. It usually kills it, but I usually have to do it two times a year in the summer same thing with nuts sage
@@pjtozzi regular pre emergent applications can reduce the the occurrences.
Very cool, just saying through all the strimmers I've used all of them was just as simple
Replacing string is one of my least favorite things to do.
I’m in the same position right now so now I’m gathering up stuff to start all over in the fall
I want to move so bad. 😢
Thanks for this. This is the worst part about cutting my backyard. I’m going to do this soon!
It was helpful
Where does the crabgrass come from??? Seeds blown in the wind?
Potentially. It creeps in and spreads if you don’t have a nice healthy turf.
Awesome job 🔥
😊
I went with Zenith Zoysia this summer ....(never thought I'd be watering baby grass in the middle of the summer) but its doing great everywhere but the moderately shady areas. In the more shady areas I think Im going to plant your RTS this fall and let the two battle it out as far as where their borders are going to be. Your site has been a big help. Thanks. Btw I'm in (Fluvanna county) central Virginia.
Interesting combo. I would love to learn more about Zoysia. Happy the content is helpful.
So it is been one year since your natural fungus treatment but you have not updated. This tells me that all you are doing is video content for subscribers/money but not really to help out others maybe. You tell me.
The experiment was interrupted by life and therefore it was incomplete, thus no update. Sorry
I got my pots, and my SnapBack seed. I’m getting ready to grow grass at the end of August.
Yes!
@@GirLzLawn I got biodegradable pots, one less thing I have to throw away or store.
I clean mine and use 3 different sprayers Bio stimulants and Fertilizers, weed control, and a glyphosate only.
Extra safe
Could be peoples dogs urinating. It actually leaves dark spots usually. My dog only burns the lawn in the summer when its stressed. Would make sense its near the entrance of those buildings
That's a lot of dog urine.
@@GirLzLawn could be especially since the rest of the turf looks dormant and still had winter burn on the blades. Looks like the dog urine pushed it out of dormancy a bit early. I could be wrong.
@@learn2lawn I fear I will never know for sure LOL
Hey just got my pro plugger. That thing will be useful for dog spots throughout the summer. Thank you. Ill probably make a video out of it Ill be sure to tag you. Ive worked in lawn care for over 10 years and never thought of plugging fescue. 😂 ive done it with bermuda, and other spreading grass types.
Awesome. Yeah, I'd love to see your work.
@@GirLzLawn lol i was just showing my mother in law……she was not impressed. She doesnt get it. Haha
I haven't had much success with stripping, I prefer all the blades to stand straight, I think it's less likely to get fungus for fescue.
@@mikeo8890 there is some truth to the fungus part. Definitely shouldn’t stripe if lawn is stressed with other things.
How does it do when watering grass that’s very close to the unit itself? I’ve read that it does well for further out but not so great for areas that are close to the unit.
I have mine set off of the grass line a bit to cover, but you have to make that minor adjustment to get the coverage you need.
Where you get that from.
amzn.to/426s888
I did this in bigger pots but this size is great for the pro plugger
It’s a fun process.
I miss lush green lawn. Summer has been brutal 😢
Yeah, a lot of brown all around.
Do you have a striper for that thing I didn’t use mine this year
It’s the Toro Stripe with built in striper. It took some time to burn those stripes in.
Man that looks great
Yeah, I put in some work on that yard.
What lawn striped do you use behind your push mower?
They don’t sell it or won’t ship at the California
@@juniorcortes2478 yeah, some herbicides are restricted in some states

Can that grass seed work in this type of environment? I believe this is cool weather six months cold weather, four months warm weather.
Yeah, sounds like cool season grass climate.
This is what happens when you don’t bag your clippings and side discharge.
@@LifelineRecordsGh partially part of the dead material accumulation.
I do this every year too to patch doggie oppssies . LOL
I’ll be starting more pots in mid-August
Where’s the link?
No link to this one. It’s available at Home Depot.
What size pots are those? I ended up ordering the plugger, this strategy will work great for when i fix dog spots during my aeration and seeding. Also throughout the growing season ill keep a few pots ready. 😂

My favorite lawn tool! I renovated a few years ago and all the seed washed out 2x, that thing saved me otherwise i wouldve ended with a mud pit.
