  Has anyone checked the price of all components?? These guys dont joke around, just the wheel is 330€, you still have to buy the base for the wheel, 500€ and so on... i'll just keep my eyes on the company for now.

  They said the retail price for the product setup which includes the wheel, pedals and shifter combo will range at $600 when it launches. The price might rise or fall depending on the circumstances at the time, but highly unlikely

  @@toxicpanda09 The good thing about the buttons on both the steering wheel and shifter is that they have icons indicating their function e.g crusie control icon, engine brake icons, so it makes it easier to remember. Most don't have a simple layout, but all in all it will take sometime to memorize all over 100 buttons, I agree

  Hello, a question, the steering wheel has self-centering, when turning it returns to its initial point. When you place the turn signal it returns to its initial place.

  HORI has been known for terrible build quality and wheels becoming unusable quite quickly knowing how poor there previous products have been this is a very quick and easy nope!!! This is going to catch a ton of novice users off guard and leave them feeling taken advantage off!!!

  I have to agree bud, I'm not defending them as I have never even looked in their direction before, but I trust SCS and their judgment on this as they collaborated with hori extensively and I believe the would not work with them and they give us a horrible product. SCS talked about working with them for months improving the product and providing feedback after months of testing and reviewing it.

  @@TartlezGamer I meant the road with gravel, dirt, soil surfaces like those around a farm or Kirkenes quarry. These serve as very accurate examples. Logitech's wheels have the habit of making you feel each and every cog in their construction, thus you are forced to remove most of the FFB, because they otherwise fail to work properly.

  @@notsure2211 It's still gear driven just like the Logitech, so I wouldn't expect it to be much better, plastic gears will always sound and feel clunky and rattly.

  @@Yavore346 I am about 99% sure, but I ask in order to learn if they had tested the wheel as if a normal player would and not a presenter that plays like a 5 yo of his/her stream. For the record, the MOZA model is far better than this one and has more leather and metal parts => it won't break fast.

And personally I don't find them that bad as people say...as for the dirt roads part, based on the feedback given by scs, the force feedback is actually good and applies to all aspects of the road that is gravel, dirt roads, and tarmac roads

  Would I be able to get a custom pedal setup for me as an right leg amputee? I love the game, but can't find a pedal setup. Everything is 3-pedal, right foot gas. And that right side automatic option is awesome as well!

  Well, in the sim itself you can set the pedals to whatever you want, in settings you are able to put the game in automatic transmission mode. The only deal with the 3 pedal setup usually is that the brake pedal is the stiffest, followed by the clutch and the throttle is the loosest.. like i said "usually". Not an amputee here, but i've set rally games up to use the clutch as a brake for easier braking. Hope it helps in your thought-train.

  Well, even though I agree with you, I must say this wheel seems different because it was made in collaboration with SCS and they were very keen on the issues that normally made hori wheels bad, by providing constant feedback and product improvement as per the feedback given by SCS. It has been tested by the SCS team for a period of time while providing feedback about force feedback, button configuration and key areas that players look for in wheels

  They are going to be asking $600 bucks for the box and for what you get that is too much. It's a gear driven wheel which like the G29 will feel ratchety like the G29 but quieter from what I can tell. $400 total is what it's worth

  I agree for me I am happy because with moza and hori taking this direction, eventually Logitech and thrustmaster will have to follow that direction, so hopefully Logitech can launch one next year

  Moza will soon release their turn signal add-on so hopefully maybe there will be a device that one can use to connect the shifter from hori to the Moza steering wheel setup

  @@TartlezGamerfor what? You can buy a moza shifter or any brand and buy and 18 wheeler shifter know with 2 switches and 1 button for $20-$50 plus the cost of what ever shifter you want to buy!! And you can use any button box you want that are way better then this junk! This is all cheap ass plastic and gear driven 🤣 Obviously you guys know nothing about trucking gear that is available on pc for ets or ats

  @@The-Cat That's what I just realized after looking at them again, sadly it seems they will not be backlit. But remember SCS is still giving input to Hori for further small improvements before release, make sure to add a comment on Hori's YT and SCS Softwares KZread channels for them to see if it can be done before the final release

  @@The-Cat With enough comments suggesting this they can make changes before production, and remember guys, even the labels on the buttons were added because of a suggestion that was made by a player to make it easier to remember which key function it holds, so make sure to comment on their YT channels, they are interested in such input and feedback.
